It's very simple. Sports balls have been improved constantly since the early 20th century when they used balls made of genuine leather and were heavy and not balanced as a result. This reached a peak in the 90s. The Adidas Tango and its many variants (mostly superficial) was the best football ever created, just like a basketball can't be improved past a certain point. That ball had "give" (it would bend slightly when you kicked it). This new ball stays round, so its nearly impossible to control

That's not the problem.It's actually a really nice ball when it comes to passes (short pass) and dribbling but when you cross the ball or shoot it from a long distance its unpredictable.I feel sorry for the goalkeepers out there in africa :(
