  • Good job kid :)

  • Nice job

  • dude you are freakin smart!!!!!!

  • thats amazing!! :0

  • Nice design. But how easily does this breakdown and transport?

  • Trick on getting ground shot videos or just photos use 2 (L) brackets and connect them in a half square , attach it to tripod use camera screw attach it to the tripod then attach ur camera on the inner side of the square and make sure u use a light weight tripod and hold it upside down , use camera timer for photos if it came with it. Enjoy!!!!!

  • @MIKEY19900 or I could use my jib......

  • cool

  • What kind of handle do you use for the tilt? apreciate the info. thanks

  • No lie, this is a fantastic piece of equipment that seems to way outperform similar commercial version going for $1000+. Do you realize how much extra income you could be making if you could get some blueprints of how to construct this out for sale?

  • @NelsonStJames Well we sell them, if you click the annotation that pops up you'll see.

  • @ddfilm92 Thanks!

  • What bearing is that... how is named... i dont how find it...

  • I seriously need one of these. Tilt and rotation controls on yours are perfect. Is there any way you can make an instructional video on how to make it? and the supplies needed, cause it would really help out a fellow youtuber. Please respond if you can.

  • @SandmanPr0ductions I hear ya... this is an amazing piece of work!! great work ddfilm92

  • Awesome work! I've never seen one that had tilt and rotate controls. I'm so impressed, now I want to make one myself.

  • you and your dad = genius.

  • did you build this all by yourself

  • @arijunal No with my dad, actually he does most the work, but i've never claimed to do all the work I just make the vids and use it so its okay, plus i help him in the shop when i can.

  • Hi,

I am trying to build my own jib, and I really liked the idea of using a bike handle for the y-axis movement. I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give me on creating such a design.

  • kid, make a few thousands of these and sell them off on the internet and shoot me the address. Id fucking get one in a heartbeat.

  • that is very awesome! ha good job!

  • I really want a camera jib, but I find it a bit pointless as I don't think I can have a monitor linked up to my camera. It's a Panasonic SDR- S26. I don't think any monitor can link up to it though :(

  • Very nice, where did you git the gizmo to tilt the camera up and down?

  • This is so awesome, could you please provide information on how to purchase one.

  • The new Jib is complete, it's assembly takes less than 10 minutes, 5 if your good, its sturdy, longer, and MOTORIZED PAN and TILT, I'll be posting the video within the next 2 weeks, and the best part YOU CAN PURCHASE ONE!!!

  • @ddfilm92 How can I purchase one?

  • @rours i just uploaded the video for the new jib

  • this proves the fact that with the right equipment, not only grownups can make cool things. I'm trying to make one of these myself, and I have no ideo how. This is way out of my league and you are way younger than me, too!. Great job man, you inspire me!

  • wow... my husband could probably take a few looks at yours & figure out how to do it & make me one too... I love mechanically inclined people =) hehe

great job... looks like it works great. Love the "servo" to tilt & pan the camera itself in it's little "cradle"

  • Bro, you cannot imagine how impressive this is. I would hire you to be in my crew in a heartbeat. Great job buddy, keep on working!

  • Your boom is fantastic and a true inspiration, I am now going to make one for myself thanks for video

  • Yeah thats something id put our 25k eur Red camera on.

  • horrible -.-¡¡¡¡¡

  • Look a mine at lecameraman.fr

  • Is there any kind of way you can tell me how you made the camera pan and tilt

  • looks rather cheap. need to get rid of the wood stuff and the weight, seriously. get some dumb bells or something. ingenious work ont he paning/tilt mechanism. could be improved with electronics but will definitely increase price. all in all. nice work.

  • @alejonin it's not about how it looks jackass, dude man over here did a great job building it so props to him

  • hey you very should put a tutorial on how you built it, it's great!

  • Sweet ;)

  • Sweet

  • how does turning the handle make the camera go up or down?

  • awesome

would you? its very important and i will be very glad to recive your help!

    Josh

  • Hey.! Can you tell me that all things, what is need for jib, what is included in your jib.?

  • Dude that thing is AWEsome...

  • that was nice

  • Your'e a fucking genius man. wish i could make stuff that good, but i allways just end up with a useless heap of hot glue, duct tape, cardboard, and stolen scrap wood.

  • WOW THATS CLAVER FROM AKID :)

  • haha and how old are u

  • another film producer in the making.

  • hey i dont wanna be a downer but our company uses a jib that we bought for about 250. definitely a great lookin set up you have there and i admire you're passion but i'd say the extra 50 is a great investment. it would also smooth out the panning as well.

  • Bien cool le bidule!!! je bricole ca pour ma cam Thanks......

  • one of the better homemade ones I have seen. I like the use of a bike gripshift.

  • Impressive. Do you have a parts/supplier list anywhere to look at?

  • Comment removed

  • it would cost me 20 dollars without the wheels

  • @kirk868 To me that comment just shows your jealous and didn't want to admit that it was something you want so you just insulted it to make yourself think your not missing out.

  • @ddfilm92 hes just telling you it would cost less, this project is badass, if youl make a second one to make a tutorial or something, :D

  • very nice mate!

  • @geofferzh79 Thanks

  • what is the camera that you use in the jib

  • Is the tilt on the camera mechanical or motorized? If mechanical, how did you get the turn/ tilt ratio to come out so good... excellent jib!!

  • Great job. What are the twist grips with the cables from and where can I get some?

  • Hello I want to know that you sew utilisastes to make yourself all that take care

  • how is the camera held onto the end? a bolt? or is it permanently attached? im in the middle of making one and i dont kno how to attach the camera without making it permanent

  • instructions please?!!!! this is great!!!!!

  • Smart !!!!!

  • "That really build your own? "Made yourself or someone else for you? good if you did it your self, I really like your design, is one of the best I've seen so far, but I am struck by the mechanism of pan tilt, you still have plans to build it?

  • this thing is amazing seriously i need to make one but i hav no budget so idk wat im gonna do

  • why would you buy a 1000 dollar camera and its not even hd?????

  • props, to pops for the job on this.

this is prolly the best description of how a jib works on y-tube so far. for others out there trying to do the same, leave the drama and all the fooking music out, just tell us how you operate it, then show some shots. like this kid did.

    good job

    anyway good video

  • whow it looks nice man!

    did you made this yourself?

    nice camera also!

    keep up the good work

  • well said

  • Very well done! If I can help with some ideas...find body building weight sets that use water or sand for the counter balance. Only use three legs as it is easier to level. On the internet, look up polyurethane caster wheels. The will be huge skateboard wheels and will roll great. If you get them with V grooves you can mount them on an upsidedown angle iron for dolly movement. You are on your way to video production...keep it up!

  • Hey, how much money do you want for that!

I am I professional broadcaster and i am pretty impressed!

  • i have only one thing to say:
