I love your Scalett.. So Beautiful! How much on average do they go for as babys i should say. The reason i looked this up is because it is on the front of my biology book haha just looked like a pretty bird
I have a scarlet just like this guy named Sady. They are excellent and loving pets as long as you can tame and manage them. Scarlets do need alot of attention and freedom but keeping them in a cage while your gone or while they're sleeping doesnt deprive them of anything. and apparently "my view"'s view is a rather narrow one, because he doesn't realize many macaws generally enjoy living with humans, the cage is there for the same reason a dog's cage is there.
I agree sweety they need to be free but the sad thing is they are losing their native habitat. I trainned a scarlet that no one could get near, sadly i couldnt afford to buy her or take the proper care of she would of needed...That was years ago...And I still cry over her all the time these are wonderful, intellagent animals and sweet as they can be if cared for and loved for in the right way. I hate to see them in cages, I hate to know that theyre treated bad.

whoever this guy is, he cirtainly knows how to train macaws
a1pha926 2 years ago
Well he willingly enters and exits his cage as you saw anyway, the owner looks like he treats him really well, so I think the bird is doing fine.

i think that if you do keep these birds in capitivity that you should keep them in large open areas and not keep them stuck in cages.

no sweety its not you can just go to a pet store and get one, sadly I think you should have license for it to show you can take proper care of them.

It was ok. I realize how hard it is to train birds. But the tricks were repeated and the movie got kinda boring.
