In this video, you make proper nutrition sound essential for fitness. I'm just wondering, if it's as important as you say, why did you leave it until part 4 instead of mentioning it earlier?
I covered this in the first video of the series, just go back and watch "Bodybuilding Supplements Guide" at 3:50 in that video I cover this specifically.
Canada cheapest supplement site i've found is Vitamart.ca If you're a first-time buyer use coupon code 10DISCOUNT and get 10$ any order over 49$ and also free shipping! Enjoy!
Hey Lee, I'm just wondering what is your range of mgs you would intake as far as Iron is concerned? Because everybody keeps giving me a lot of different numbers.
I personally don't take iron supplements, the only iron I get is what's found in my multi-vitamins and through my food. However, if you have an iron deficiency than that's a different matter and should be monitored by a doctor.
I bought some centrum performance - are they as complete as the multivitamins you show in the video? - Any guidelines when choosing a multivitamin or are most of them basically the same?
A lot of the popular brands are good and will meet your needs, but one brand in particular that I like is Blue Star, they have very high potency supplements. You can check them out online at: BlueStarMuscle*com
I'm just now going through all your videos and want to say thanks for all the help!! !! I'm going to finish them all before I start asking questions. Just want to say thanks!! Your videos are informative and give me a good foundations towards improving my health and muscle building routines!! Thanks -Paul :)
If you can get powder supplements go for it. Protein powder, creatine powder, greens powder, etc. will allow you to get a higher dose and save money over buying pills of capsules.
One or two greens drink per day is plenty. You can mix it in with a protein shake, blender smoothie, or whatever. Timing isn't that important, the main thing is that you take them consistently.
Hey Lee do i have to use high potency multivitamins like Animal Pak, Opti-men. Or can I just take multivitamin from a drug store like one a day or centrum type stuff

@jmiller331989 Dude opti mens is top notch multivitmain and you can get it cheap from bodybuilding web site. And you only gotta take like 2-3 per day. Animal pak is good but I dont feel like swallowing 25 pills at once. And centrum is a coach potatoe muti not some one who wants to be working out and staying on there game.
this video is unecessary to me, u didint give me a whole lot of info, i actually do eat about 5 to 7 servings of fruits And vegetables, which would be better for the body then greens powder, didnt even know they had vegetable powder
Recently ive started to get annoyed with having to take all this bullshit powder everyday. I like to keep my working out at the none obsessive level now.
What are you views on CLA as a fat burner? Is there a better more effective fat burner? Im taking Iso Muscle 94 as a protein supplement, CLA and ACAI.
Yes, you can take all of these supplements. I'll often use flaxseed oil with my food, very often I'll add it to a garden salad along with some low calorie dressing. And the B vitamins can be taken along with your multi-vitamins.
I do offer personalized workout and nutrition program along with online coaching right on my website. The link to my site is in the side bar on my main video channel.
I was introduced to your site via Vince Delmonte. I find your videos useful and motivational. As for "greens", I find Gary Null's "Green Stuff" excellent.
so what can help, did u eve have a problem like this, shud i still do other lower back and back workouts to help my back and i remember looking at ure site and similiar questions like this was asked and u answered glucosamine? so plz answer this question becuase this discourages me a bit and i have made the best gains for my age thank God, i love the deadlift its an amazing ecxersise and i dont wanna stop ive been working out for a year exactly now and my deadlift was impressive for me 300
Hey lee i got a question to ask on if these things can help my lower back problem, i thinkk i might have messed up my back by not warming up correctly and now my back hurts so much becuuse i was stupid enuff tto do it the next week and the cause was becuae i didnt warm up properly before deadlifting, i havent been to a docter yet and its beens bout 3 months or maby couple more now and my back hurts to the extent it hurts to bend down and i think the pain even goes to the legs at times im only 16
lee what are your thoughs on steriods i know alot people dont like to touch on them but can you make a vid explaining about them? alot of people here on youtube accuse you of useing deca
@MJCINC Fish oil helps your whole body functioning better. It "smoothens" both your joints and organs. It is definately worth investing in, I have always taken them, even before I got into weightlifting.
Don't get hung up on the brands, for the most part I just use the drug store brand.
Now I know some people will get their panties in a knot when they here this, but when you actually compare the labels and nutritional info, very often the drug store brand is just as good as the more expensive name brands.
Right now my personal favorite protein powder is Gaspari Nutrition MyoFusion Whey Protein. This tastes great, mixes up nice and creamy, and comes in several flavors.
I used to take the GNC brand supplement Megamen Sport. I always referred to vitamins as expensive pee because it literally turns my pee nuclear yellow :P
But I knew vitamins were important for your gains but I had no idea what the science was behind it. Thanks to Lee I've learned something new :]
Brilliant once again. I've been on a high protein low carb plan it made me I'll. I was suffering from fatigue, fevers and colds. Now I understand it's because I need to increase my alkaline levels by consuming more greens. Thanks.
Eating a low carb diet is great for fat loss, but make sure to consume lots of green veggies. Even through there are small amounts of carbs in veggies it will NOT hinder your fat loss. After all no one ever got fat because they ate too many veggies :-)
You should still have these supplements on hand. Chances are there will be days when you don't eat fish or don't eat as many veggies as you should. On these days you could make up for it by taking supplements.
Great stuff - I take a multivitamin every day, but have been for so long, I forget that sometimes it needs to be covered. I also take fish oil, the same brand you showed: Carlsons. It's good stuff and doesn't taste bad either. I strongly recommend not going crazy with it though; less is more, because fish oil is an active form of vitamin A, so you can do harm taking too much.
As for Greens, I don't take them but I will start. What is a good brand?
If you are limited to just 2 supplements I'd go with protein powder and greens. Protein powder is actually the cheapest source of quality protein for most people. And greens will help to keep your acid alkaline levels in check.
two things what "Green" drink would you reccomend? and could you just do a video of what supplements you use? or if that is too personal sorry that i asked
I've used several brands from Greens Plus, Green Defense, All Greens, and several others that I can't even remember the name of off the top of my head. They all pretty much contained the same nutritional info. So it really doesn't matter which brand you choose, just use one.
These videos do show the supplements I use personally. I'm just covering them in more detail and explaining the "why" behind them rather then just writing down a quick check list of products.
@leemhayward yes i know but i dont know if i should listen to some of these guys behind the counter. They could just be trying to make a big sale.Cuz lets face it...there are people at supplement stores that sell a lot of bullsh*t products.
I agree with you in that there are some shady supplement stores with clerks who will tell you anything to make a sale. But at the same time there are still a few honest folks who tell it like it is and if a product is a rip off or if there is a cheaper alternative they'll say so. But when it comes to vitamins, just go to the grocery store and buy them no one will pester you at the grocery store :-)
