@LordAztahoth How could Fleming have said anything like that when he died before Goldfinger was released in 1964 and Dalton didn't take over until 1987? Fleming only saw Connery.

Every generation had their own version of James Bond. From Connery to Craig. I've seen most of them. Since I was born in the 80's and a growing boy in the 90's, Brosnan is the James Bond of my generation. They are all different but I have to pick Brosnan. He was a well rounded James Bond and his version is regarded as the "down to earth" James Bond but brutal! Someone who would you want to play tennis with.. and GoldenEye is my all time fave and one of the best in the series.

Brosnan was the average bond. he wasnt the best and neither the worst. to me he seems a benchmark.

although GoldenEye was undoubtably one of the best bond films, deffo in top 5

Goldeneye was probably the best Bond film. Browman Era was the best.

I liked all the gunbarrel intros except for Casino Royal. Not trying to hate on that movie, but the gun barrel was 6 or 7 minutes in the movie, and the blood looked messed up.

@Teddywolf I almost agree. He was one of the better ones. One of the reasons he stopped being Bond was because he didn't want to be type-casted as 007.

I like Brosnan the best too. However, GoldenEye was the first Bond movie I ever saw. So I imagine that that probably planted the idea of what Bond should be like in my mind.
