Its a three cylinder engine. so not unlike a twin vs an inline 4. the three cylinder produces a different noise. The whistling you are hearing is more the engine noise than the exhaust noise. To each his own though. I find that i like the sound of a triple. reminds me of a supercharged car.
Road this bike last weekend at Biketoberfest(Demo) in Daytona Beach, Fl. with Arrow exhuast. Great in the twisties and very comfortable. I'm 6'2'' and did not feel cramped at all. Would definately purchase. Alot like my S2r Ducati Monster.
Yes but there are two Arrow´s exhaust and one of them it´s only for competition and I don´t know if the Arrow´s exhaust of this video it´s competition or not.The competition give 6 HP more and 5 Kg less.
Street triple rules (i've ridden one with stock cans and the sound was already sweet) Bt the arrow is a musthave very light more power great sound+looks

Whistling noise is due to gear driven cams rather than chain drive.

the arrow is can is for road, its an add on from the factory. See the Triumph website

Yeah I see this now on the Triumph website, I have ridden the low boy 3 in 1 and thought this was the street version.
Ill have to look into this again as Im picking mine up in October.
This look is way better than the 2 large dustbins under the seat.
