Houston did not have this junk in the inner loop prior to the late 1990s. The mirgation of yuppies from the north accustomed to paying 1/4 million + bucks for a tin box got it all going.
The heights used to be pretty much working class and older people. Now, it's yuppieville.
The days of shoe salesmen driving new Audis are over so will go the real estate.
San Antonio is trying the high end downtown condos. Not much market for a $500K condo. Not with property taxes being what they area.
Meanwhile the local Realtors continue with their lies. It's a great time to buy. Or so they say.
