It looked like the Gene Genie had been shot and that Sam (bless his sweet heart) was trying to stop him bleeding to death by placing the morning paper over the wound. Turns out the Gene Genie wasnt shot at all. He was just having a little nanna nap. Dreaming about Sammy boy of course ;)
You should watch LOM. There are two box sets that don't cost much cuz they came out a while ago, and I'm sure you can find a lot of episodes here on YouTube too. Also, if you get desperate, there's a site with all the transcripts! (sooooo useful for writing fanfic)
