No it's not. Our scoring is going to be just as good, and our defence is going tro be better. And whoever said that Boston has 4 non playoff teams in their division is full of shit as the Habs, sens and Sabres are all too crappy to make the playoffs.

You need offence and consistint goaltending and we do not have the offence and we are taking a chance with the monster and toskala has never been known to be consistint the playoffs for the east imo will look like this 1) Boston 2) Washington 3) Pittsburgh 4) Philadelphia 5) Carolina 6) New Jersey 7) Rangers 8/9) Tampe/Atlanta 10-15) Montreal, Buffalo, Flordia, Toronto, Ottawa, Islanders
and I'm pretty sure Burke made a prety good signing in MacDonald he's a solid AHL goalie or a decent NHL back up so he fits the blue and white pretty good not even Luongo or your buddy Pogge could have put up good numbers on Long Island
actually now that Toronto kept Kaberle I agree with you and think the leafs will get in the playoffs as long as they stay healty they'll finish in the top 10 if they could sign another forward or two then that would give them the edge for sure
I knew Kaberle would stay. I had a feeling that Burke's asking price for Kaberle was a bit too high, but i am glad he is staying. But i think that we would have made the playoffs without him as Burke would have gotten someone who can help the team now and in the future for Kaberle.
Oh i am used to Habs fans spewing out garbage about the Leafs without any proven facts. I heard soem say Markov is a much better defencemen than any of the Leafs defencemen, then i pissed myself laughing at him. I just can't believe the utter stupidity of these Leafs haters.
Our scoring last year was 10th, pretty damn good, with horrible defense and goaltending. If our defense plays up to its potential, and we score as well, or better than last year, i could easily see TO making a playoff run. It's a lot of IF's though.
you've got to remember though that we are not the only team that improved I don't mean I can't see the Leafs making the playoffs but i think they should give thereyoung players one more year to develop and we could get another good draft pick this season to and Toronto's defence improved tremendously
I know the feeling. I too am sick of waiting and waht the Leafs to be a playoff team this year, Maybe a cup contender, but i can say that the Leafs will definately be the next Canadian team to win the Stanley cup since 1993.
