I found a couple of things as a Squall player that really did help with this match. Staying in the air made it easier to see when he's gonna Brave attack you, so you can block. His fiery spin can be blocked with Aerial Circle, but I would only do that after fully blocking it. if you dodge on the ground from a Condemn, you can punish him with a Blasting Zone. Also works for Divine Punishment, if you're close enough.

Did you ever try the exploding magic things in mid-air right before you get hit with a Condemn? You get hit with a Condemn, but before that, you shoot him with the Magic Barrage in mid-air. Once the Condemn chunks some of your health, his bravery goes down to zero.

But that's when the magic things blow up and VOILA! Break + some serious bravery.getting added. But it's risky, depending on Chaos's bravery.

Right timing can chip off about 1000 HP, but I had about 9600 HP. It's one of those things that you have to wait for the right moment.

I beat this guy with Zidane lvl 100 with almost all S-Class accessories (Plus 3 "A" Class) and had "The Tower", "Mystile", "Saucer", and "Heike's Armor" equipped.

Took me.... I dunno how many retries, but it was enough to cause me to lose 100 points in the final count.... but I didn't care, I just wanted to win the dang thing and be done with all the stories for the time being.... Good grief that bastard was hard!

@parmer13 Demon's Dance is actually pretty easy to dodge, you just gotta keep doing it without stopping, preferably on the ground where there's little delay between dodges. Once he finishes the last part of the attack, wail on his ass.

was pretty easy for me to get past that on most occasions, just be sure to time your dodges right, cause any false move can mess the whole thing up for ya.

I use Tidus lvl 100 and i beat him like 5 times its easy peasy man but in a record i like using Cloud for beating every hit and thats all folks

Meh, not too difficult. Most of Chaos' attacks are easy enough to read. The only one that gives me a tough time is Soul of Oblivion.

But I discovered a way to kinda "avoid it": you just keep him on the floor or on the top of the stage, & when he does it, you flee to the oposite side :) (It worked with Zidane, for me), or you can just atack him before he finishes charging XD

For Exdeath, though, that's difficult to do. I try to do Delta Attack, but he hits me before I can execute the attack. Luckily, I can break him with my first attack thanks to boosters (I can get 22.1x at maximum), so SoO does no damage.

I guess that's why I suck with Exdeath...

I'm so used to Zidane (he's about the fastest character in the game), when I tried Exdeath at first, he was so slow, I couldn't handle the contrast, & I never used him again :( (maybe I'll try him again to take him to lvl. 100. Him & Kefka are the only ones I have left :P )

Actually, though Zidane is among the fastest characters in the game, it is Onion Knight that claims the title of the fastest.

And trust me, it is worth getting the hang of Exdeath's timing. If you get the timing for Omni-Guard down for the most part, the opponent can't do anything to hurt you.

His speed is a mild inconvenience, but that's why I rely on Omni Air Dash and Teleportation for fast transportation.

Maybe, but... ...my sister is already Tidus.

I mean...

When we fisrt got the game, we both took a character to stick with (the first we were to get to lvl. 100, buy all accesories & Items, master abilities, make them our ghosts...), she picked Tidus & I picked Zidane. & now when we're playing & I say "you", I mean Tidus, & when he says "you", she means Zidane.

& now Zidane is like... ...my Star Character...

It seems somehow wrong to beat Chaos with someone else <3 (at least the first time).

My new main is Jecht; I've been thinking about maybe doing Inward Chaos with him eventually, but I don't really see the point since I already cleared it with the big man Exdeath.

However, if you happened to have Xlink Kai, I would be most intrigued to face your Zidane. Most intrigued indeed.

Tough I don't think I'm really that good, I've fought mostly with computer characters (Even in Max diff. they're kinda easy :P )

He doesn't have a lot of HP attacks,buthis Bravery attacks are very usefull.

I didn't have it long,and I was able to get Omni Slash ver 5. :D

One tip! if he use scarlet rain, and the many Fireballs come, BLOCK THEM!!! PRESS THE R BUTTON LIKE HELL AND THE LAST BALL HE THROW DODGE!!!

scarlet rain is the cheapiest HP attack Chaos has because it hit you anywhere.

they only way to stop it is to enter EX mode when you hit.

The small orbs that do brave damage are all blockable. You need to block them then dodge the last one, which does the HP damage (and is not blockable),
