  • 5:56 yum. Orange juice made to look like melted gold XD.

  • what did the narrator say around 6:23? "gaurrated to death"?

  • why is every comment on this vids so sensitive to racism like its not that serious right now because its too late to change

  • in EIGHT months, the spaniards raped 20 tonnes of gold and silver from the Incas... Wow. And I like how just the part before, the spaniards told him "Christians dont kill outside of the bloodlust of battle"... And then once he was useless.. KILLED outside of battle for no reason lol...

  • in this world, the bad guys can win.

  • Why didn't he mentioned that the American Indians gave the Europeans syphilis and killed a lot of them as well?

  • @98bigbutt Because you get it from sex (and other ways of body fluids coming in contact) and well all know Europeans are sooo perfect and superior that they can't possibly have sex with non whites, we aren't good enough :(.

  • @HybridD91,I said it because it was true not because to make the natives look bad.

  • @98bigbutt except Native syphilis didn't kill as many Europeans as European diseases killed Natives.

  • Yeah!....and why didn't he mention that a few Nazis were killed by some Jews? Huh? Huh???

  • @98bigbutt im pretty sure that was further north than this particular situation

  • @98bigbutt In his book he does.

  • What if the English or French had made contact with the natives of South America instead. hypothetically, I'm sure they would have faced some difficulty and hostile opposition and attacks as well. Under diffrent circumstances and location more or less in S. America as opposed to N. America we can only make an educated guess as to what would have happened. The pressure of eventual hostile coexistence would have gotten to them and the world turned upside down eventually...

  • Not necesarrily. English, n French were not as innocent as you may think. English and French were just as arrogant and perhaps even worse. English would have enslave Indians and put them into camps, torture them. French would've been just as arrogant and exploit natives as well. No saying Spaniards were saints n although process wasn't easy agreeable At least Spanish gave a choice; religion and worked in long run n added some spice to culture in S. Amer, and Philippine as well

  • @TheLuminAir You are accusing the English and French of the hypothetical crimes of enslaving and torturing the Incas? They are guilty of something they didn't do?

  • I wish they'd stop repeating "guns, germs and steel" every 20 seconds.

Yes, I know what the fucking show's called, for pity's sake. I'm watching it already.

  • ...please, just stop repeating that catchphrase for a second

  • ...please, just stop repeating that catchphrase

  • geographcy = food and domestication = resistance to disease over 10,000,which... justifies colonization and genocide... ?

    fuck you Jared Diamond !

If Cortes and Pizzaface tried to fuck the Inuit the germs would have frozen ! and their horses too ! and their 15th century gunpowder muskets things would have frozen too... the guns, germs, and steel would have frozen Jared !

    explain that !

  • @RimlandThesis

And why did the Inuit lsot all fights agaubst the Danish and even the Vikings?

Thibk twice before you argue plz.

  • @RimlandThesis he doesn't "justify it" - he explains it. Germs would not "freeze". Spanish colonisation focused on Central and South America not Northern Canada. THe inuit territory lacked resources needed by 15th century spain.

  • @RimlandThesis He never said violence justified ever. He's just reporting on history. Calm down man.

  • @RimlandThesis Lucky for you lot it was the english & french that set up shop on your front yard then eh, we'er just arrogant fuckers the spanish have a sadistic streak a mile wide.

  • it was not 100 percent one-sided. The Europeans received Syphilis in return; what they did not receive was a disease that spread through the air from person to person. Essentially, that meant that the natives were doomed, even if they had never fought so much as a skirmish.

  • @DanPhantom89 This has been disproved long ago. Syphilis is an ancient disease that was around in the Americas as well as Europe and Africa. Ancient Greeks had it too - scientist found baby skeletons with syphilis teeth.

  • realistically if the inca had managed to learn how to repel cavalry, then the whole course of the invasion would have changed...by standing still they could have saved a part of their world...i think we could learn something from that

  • If only the Inca had the Lama virus, then the tables might have been turned.

  • @RazaTheHacker germs only a small part of the story....this show should be entitled Race War cuz that's what history is all about

  • @Houseofthe7gayboys If they had not been suffering of disease [and decreased money spent on religion] they could have potentially repelled the enemy invasion, plus considering the fact the Lama virus would infect the Conquistador's it further increases the chances of Native survival.

  • It's like the old saying,"I can't believe that someone so small could create something so big."

  • One of many major contributing factor to these indiginous people weakness were their beliefs. Believing these invaders were gods only added to their intimidation & indecisiveness. When the spaniards were resting, the Incas could have used a tactic the Spaniards used on the Tieno people to gain quick victory. But then the small-pox would've eventually taken over.

  • @Afrocanuk Bottom line is this...If you are not European and happen to make contact with them, kill 'em first before they kill you....Genghis Khan and his boys, the original ancestral brothers of the Incas and Aztecs, knew what to do with them European and had it not been for sum stupid funeral these boys woulda gone all da way to spain and wipe out the european the old fashioned way.

  • @Houseofthe7gayboys There is a big problem here. The thing is Eastern Europe was never as powerful as Western Europe in this century; this was very true in most of the medieval/renaissance times. Poland, Russia, and Hungary are not centers of powers in Europe… Also there were little contacts with Knights in Europe exampale they never fought the Teutonic Knight or troops, in fact at best most were just troops from a divided Poland and Eastern Europe.

  • @Houseofthe7gayboys The issue of terrain. Germany, Italy, Austria, & France, Spain or Western Europe for that mater is not suitable for the Eastern style of horsemanship. Alps, Hills & wide, impenetrable forests, A chain of stone or concrete fortifications, walled cities, & extra; are not very conducive to mobile horse archery. Western European fortifications would have proved to be a nearly impossible obstacle to conquer or overcome...

  • dog eat dog world, someonw will always be on top and someone will always be below. at the end of the day, i would prefer to be on top. doesn't everybody?

  • @thegreenseven , that phylosophy is exclusively europeans , there has been civilisations in the past powerful but didnt decide to submit , or to dominate others people , the chinese , could have enslaved the western europeans if they trully wanted but they didnt do it , europeans are the most imperialistic prone peoples within the human race , and it still continues today look at america , how many mre victims before the west changes its policy

  • Lolololololol this vid is ridoncadonc

  • Hi mrs.aspinwall! Thanks for the 5 minute break.

  • all I'm 100% sure about is that I have met some pretty smart white, black, asian, and hispanic people and that there are idiots in each race. no race is better than another, and if so, who cares, you can't prove it?!!! Worry about who You are and not about what group you "belong" to.

  • @wiitubeaccount what u say may sound very ideal and moral but everybody in medical/biological field know the inconvenience truth and difference in human races. there're anatomical/physiological variations among diff. races and this is the truth that nobody can deny.

Intelligence wise, asians>whites>hispanics->blacks, academic achievement and IQ test statistics can prove that.

Physical superiority, blacks -> whites > hispanics -> asians

  • @punktux Actually according to the U.S census bureau, Nigerians have the highest education attainment in the U.S. surpassing both Asians and Whites. By the way I'm an 18 year old black male with an IQ of 130 (+ or - 2).I'm pretty sure it's that high because I grew up in a upper-middle class household that values education. I'm also positive that it would be lower if I grew up in a African shanty town or a broken home in Compton;thus poor environmental conditions being the culprit.

  • @punktux Look,I'm black and I grew up in a black community.I'm very observant and aware of my surroundings. That being said, you don't know what your talking about. The issues you speak of (academic achievement/black community) is WAY more complex than predetermined genetics;patterns, correlations, culture, environment etc.We don't appreciate people(tends to be white) who speak of other cultures as though they're an expert,ex.you ;it's naive and childish. How can you be 41 years old and not know this.

  • jared diamond is wrong in some ways...

the native americans could have repelled the white invaders...

the pilgrims could have been easily wiped out by the waponoag tribes but they didnt decide to kill the pilgrims.. geography had nothing to do with that.. just politics and decisions... but since they didnt the pilgrims soon created the united states and started conquering the natives back

  • @lifes40123 but what brought the pilgrims even to be able to travel to new world is GEOGRAPHy

my god, you guys are fuckin' idiots

  • @awesome220 NO SHIT.. hahaha we are just saying some flaws about guns, germs and steel noob

  • They act as though Pizarro only had the one fight, and that this fight was decided by chance and arrogance rather than spanish superiority. This isn't the case. The conquest of Peru took years, there were many battles. Pizarro had a similar outcome whether or not the Inca's were armed, familiar with horses, or had heard guns before.

  • Lol at "Europeans were accidental conquerers", then attributing European success to "guns, germs, and steel". First of all Jared, the gun was created in China. This video admits that these violent diseases were spread all over Eurasia, and Steel was known all over from Africa to Europe to China, everyone had access to it. You can't just call the intelligent decisions of Europeans an accident when most of the world had access to the same tools.

  • @AlienSexRanger guns were not invented in china. guns were invented in arab world. gun powder, hwoever, was invented in Chinar.

  • @awesome220 Source please.

  • This show is a breeding ground for antiwhite racists. Its funny that they're taking their inspiration from the thought processes of a self effacing white man.Says it all doesn't it.Let me sum up some of the bileI've read-White men r evil inferior backward cavemen directly descended fromneanderthals who stole all their knowledge&culturefromArabs,Blacks&Chinese. They then by sheer dumbluck achieved alltheir technological&scientific progress. They r devils&their1sole purpose is2keepthe blackman down.

  • @gunninlinguist sorry you feel that way ..im white i don't wish to keep anyone down of any race

  • Europe overtook China because new farming techniques led to much more of europe being farmable during the middle ages. Europe, which used to be not good for farming, was suddenly loaded with farmable land.

  • Here's a stupid and picky point that bugs me. To 'decimate' means to kill one in ten. It was much more like nine in ten.

  • It makes sense why the whites established colonies, spawned their culture and their religious beliefs

  • Europeans not only had a denser population in a smaller area but were closer to the place of origin of the human race. Technology takes time and some stability. They were years ahead because of location. Also, the dense population of Europe in the northern climates forced the development of technology years before the civilizations in North & South America. It's funny how the recipients of power look for inherent reasons for their success. They have to create myths about why they are so great.

  • @storagetank6272

Achieving dense populations is an achievement in itself. It means you've gone beyond sparsely populated hunter gatherers, or nomadic existence, to efficient urbanised agriculture.

  • The thing to keep in mind is that this video is a heavily distilled adaptation of the book, therefore a lot of the arguments are going to seem over-simplified. If they'd tried to cram in every last detail, the series would be much longer than three episodes.

(Now if you'll excuse me, I need to bleach out the mental image of Atahualpa attempting to infect Pizarro with syphilis.)

  • 'Why didn't they have any deadly diseases to pass onto the Spaniards?'

    ....you mean except for Syphilis?

  • Plagues! there is some benefit to plagues. and thats unoccupied lands for the taking! and big fancy mansions! increased personal power! so i know many a far sighted medieval peasent was more than happy to see a big fat brown rat creeping towards the castle!! id have been packing ready to move to the new unoccupied real estate! dancing on the graves of bossy nobles all the way!

  • spaniards were the most disgraced shameless, unfaithful and mercyless people!

  • Guns, Germs and Steel.

haha, that's old school, it has evolved into Sex, Guns, Drugs and Lies.

  • @RadicalFiction Lies... no doubt about that bit...

  • yawn........we have ta write an essay for school on this......sigh

  • @917802 Rofl so do I, are you in Taylors class?

  • @Katecow2010 XD no i dont tink i go to the same school as u do..... but anyway, COWS R AWESOME!!!!!

    Heres a poem i wrote @ skool.

    I am a cow.

    Cows go moo.

    I say moo.

    Yay for you!!!

    im genius, arent i?

  • thanks for putting this up, i needed it to study for a test. greatly appreciated

  • @skinnyhatred same. what grade are/were you in?

  • @ODSTRookie2 Im a Freshman in High School taking AP World History, in the need of learning a condensed version of GG&S

  • Imperium Europa:

The Book that changed the world.

    Amazon Books

  • Steel was first developed in Anatolia which is modern day Turkey. To be more precise the northwest portion of Turkey, and the southeast portion of Greece is the region where iron production began. Guns were created and invented in Europe, however, the Chinese are responsible for producing gun powder and the first rockets/fireworks. Diseases, such as the black plague, had come from Asia as did many other diseases. Africa is also responsible for many diseases. Europe has its own as well.

  • strange how it was actually asians that discovered gun, germs, and steel before europeans.

but whatever, europeans said columbus discovered america too.

it's really culture. asians are actually more superior but europeans are more violent because of their culture hence they wanted to conquer many parts of the world.

    watch?v=QHyspkeyIfs

  • Dont be sore and jealous.

  • don't say like that, Europeans are the ones who made everyone work in order. These economical devolopments, political and scientific things were fueled by Europeans.

  • Comment removed

  • recent archaeological evidence supports the New World having a population of approx 16 - 18 million and that old world diseases killed between 90 - 94%. In some areas, 99% of the indigenous population was wiped out.

  • To some degree I want Western civilization to get it's ass handed to it.

  • Does he talk about the European and African interaction?

  • @u2hubbard no, because blacks defeated themselves, whites who tried to take sub saharan africa by force in the 1500s- 1850s got their asses handed to them repeatedly.

  • 95% is an unlikely figure for overall native American population loss. Even at the 17th-century low there aren't likely to have been fewer than 8 million survivors of a pre-contact population variously estimated at 15-100m. Disease was a disaster for the populations affected, but beware those numbers: we really haven't any reliable basis for a 1492 figure, and the extreme estimates rest on far shakier foundations than their frequent repetition might suggest.

  • i wonder why the leader that the spanish took prisoner and taught to play chess never got sick

  • what he means, europeans are better than incas?only because conquered free people?

  • whats garroting

  • A garrote is a device used to strangle someone. In modern usage, it refers to a line (rope, wire, etc.) with handles attached at either end.

In historical context, the garrote would have been an iron collar that would have produced the same result.

  • Ever played "Hitman 47"? It's strangulation by wire.

  • jared is right about the europeans having a headstart compared to the incas but what about th arabs, the indians and the chiense? at one point, these ppl were about the same in terms of technological advancement. the europeans rose becuase of their culture. they started to dig deep into science and one thing led to another and boom, they rose to power. it's totally left out here!!!!!

  • mlsi,

The Europeans benefitted from the technology of the "arabs, indians and the chiense" as well as other groups. Comparitively, they made few advancements of their own. The only cultural phenomenon that drove the European expansion is the warlike nature developed throughout the Middle Ages; there are multiple subcultures within a small area, which breeds competition. Again, this is a function of geography.

  • i don't know other cultures enough to comment on them but i know that one reason for china's stagnation is its stability. china was unified and it's much more stable than european. i believe some economists and historians agree that it's competition in europe that led to its rise. but again, this is a function of geography but jared didn't mention what you and i have said at all. he didn't even mention much about what happened to the ancient civilizations that survived.

  • It's not left out. Diamond's emphasis on the importance of the geography (resources) that these 2 people came from is exactly what allowed the Spanish to develop their culture beyond that of the Incas.

  • well... the chinese was always on par with the europeans.. the only dark-era in china was after the fall of the qing dynasty till recently... which is around 100 years.. most written history is about european cultures.. so we always have the perception that there's only europe

  • he hasn't gotten to that part yet.

  • @mlsi as he has said in other videos, if you go around the world you will find no lack of innovation or brains with which people can go forth and shape the world. there is no monopoly on innovation, so I don't believe that purely because of culture the europeans rose up. Perhaps they used religion as a means of control, exploiting a thought that, "if you dont believe what I believe, I shall destroy you." it's just something i picked up. (responded to comment on guns, germs, and steel part 12)

  • @lolzicus, i agree with you. there were inventions everywhere. if you look up history, you'd find that many civilizations were at a much better shape than european cultures. the arabs and the indians had far more advanced technology. so why were the europeans able to catch up and surpass the others? what sets the europeans apart compared to say the arabs i think is their culture. i don't mean europe vs. incas.

  • @mlsi What sets the Europeans apart is their History of Warfare. All of Europe has been at war with itself for its entire History. Not until the formation of the European union has Europe known peace. Those thousands of years of War produced a culture that stressed a never ending quest to develop newer more deadly weaponry. Nothing has changed. The microwave was the result of scalar wave technology for war. The Internet from military needing to communicate with each other. Biological warfare etc

  • @mlsi I think it is the mentality, Europa was poor, overpopulated, and most children lost parents early ( mostly war), that leaves the next generation of Europeans less emphatic and suffer from bad stress and agresione handling (they snap easy and have a keen sadistic line), people like that are newer at peace, they have to stay on the move for there mentalitis sake

I admit that geography is very important but he forgets the human nature that is changed bye our environment as a important factor

  • @Cyricist001 Spain had always been under populated, throughout the reconquista, and even during the conquest of the americas

  • @marcos69camaro There was the law that only the eldest son inherits the land, that means the rest had to go into priests or soldiers, and they had to fight to eat.

  • @Cyricist001

And yet from these aggressive people came forth the end of slavery, the bill of rights and democracy.

    Who would have thought

  • @Romeowasbleeding1 Naturally you have to attack to win, look where pacifism and defense got the rest of the world.

Democracy....it failed before it can fail again. 60% of humans live in a non-democratic system, it would be easy to restore a Monarchy or dictatorship and push democracy back.

  • @mlsi also, in addition, he also said so in this video, from 7:30 to 8:13 , he proves what i had said in my last comment.

  • @mlsi That's a fascinating question. The Chinese and Japanese both turned inward, and pretty much rejected the rest of the world, at different times in their history. What if China had had an expansionist culture?

  • @hrothgleas They would probably rule the world.

  • @mlsi Read the book or the watch the rest of the show! The only reasons European's were able to "dig deep into science" is because they received science and math from Arabia in the first place. He later talks about political fragmentation (Europe) and unity (China). Fragmentation forces ingenuity as you need it to survive and offers more places to experiment (how many people did Columbus go to get funded...several!). With political unity, like China,, one leaders decision can stop everything.

  • @FattyNO10 And that was Greek knowledge, they advanced it later but it was not there in the first place.

  • @mlsi India and china were cut off from the rest of the world by mountains and shit.

The middle east which was once fertile lost its fertility. Plus, the Ottoman Empire brought down the middle east because of its poor leadership.

  • @mlsi Thats also not quite exact.Others also did dug deep into science, for the most of history those people were more technological advanced, had greater population and possessed vast territories. The thing that separated those great civilizations and European nations was primarily their social structure(degree of freedom). On one side you had vast,rich,advanced..but tightly centrally managed empires,on the other were lots of small, not so centralized kingdoms and duchies..in continuing competition

  • @zg76

And this culture of individuality and competition is what granted the West its preeminence to this day.

I can't believe that Mr Diamond doesn't recognize the huge part that culture-and possibly- race had to play in creating our modern world.

Accidental conquerors? What an insane, (possibly anti-European) idea!

  • @mlsi He adresses this in the book. Asian maritime activity was halted by a chinese imperial order that no technological advancements be made in ships, to prevent piracy. At one point the Chinese had the most advanced ships on Earth, they would have likely discovered America if this order had not been enacted. It was called Haijin

  • @mlsi THANK YOU! Cultural values are completely dismisses. In fact, in several instances Diamond just glosses over the overwhelming effort that went into becoming a dominant empire. Many of those efforts were driven by cultural values, not by domesticated animals.

  • @0HippyHunter0 READ THE BOOK!

  • @awesome220 Son, don't just presume that because I disagree I haven't read the book. BTW, four posts in a row = fail.

  • @mlsi this is the beginning. aaaand China lost it´s power around the time Britain colonized India. Read Robert Marks book the origin of the modern world. It explains it all. How capitalism succeeded in Europe and not in CHina because of politics and wars.

  • @mlsi no, you cant say it is all culture. The chinese had everything set up for them to be a great empire and they didn't because of politics and war. You do know that China was great at science right? they invented gunpowder, paper, compasses, etc....

  • @mlsi bad decisions by emporers set them back years and years.

arabs had to move due to changing climate

  • @mlsi No no no Diamond does cover exactly what your arguing read the book

  • @mlsi science? did you not just see the scene where they murdered all of the incas because they did not accept their religion? it was not the investment in just technology, jared specifically said it was the spanish greed and lust for advancement that led to this. its basic human psychology.

  • COLD regions would have less disease while HOT regions would have more because germs multiply faster in hot weather. Whites would have had an advantage over Africans. This would counter the effects of the cold. Also more deaths was countered by large European birth rates. In the past when large amounts of men were killed or about to be killed a tribe would have more children. Also the human population entering Europe would be so big that deaths caused by cold wouldn't matter.

  • well, the way you would use a cervical cap if you were a chick. Crodocile shit was apparently so effective, another shocking thing I discovered is that in ancient Egypt it was considered acceptable for mothers to initiate their own sons on the "facts of life!" A woman did not explain reproduction to her son, she gave him a first hand lesson!!!! You will be shocked, at some of the stuff you will find.

  • Families were stronger then. Now families are just room mates sharing common resources: water, heating, dryer, fridgerator ect.

  • nice.

  • Jared's arguments are severely flawed. European culture was shaped by anti-colored/anti-Islamic sentiments from wars with brown and black Muslim Moors, religious wars within Europe, widespread disease and very hard times. The Eurocentric and extremely abmitious Western society that has taken over the world is becuz of this.Through their unity against non-Europeans they could collectively take advantage of the unfavorable circumstances of other civilizations and severly exploit them. And they did.

  • if Americans are not careful, the same thing could happen here.

tell congress, to remove the patriot act NOW.

  • Brave? Greedy and bloodthirsty. The Inca king was too arrogant for his own good. European expansion is due to the union of wealthy, ambitious Eurocentric Europeans using wealth and influence for glory and power around the world. These Europeans have been more successful at exploiting and manipulating their own people raised on war, fear, competition and violence. The key has been mass exploitation of resources for greed, promoting Eurocentricity and avarice in Western culture as norms.

  • I agree with you somewhat; the Incan line of kings had a system of brain washing, not at all dissimilar to that used by the Catholic Church, Mao Zedong and Joseph Stalin as a system of control over the people. When you create a police state like the Incan empire, you remove free will and in removing free will, you remove self worth. The incans were brought down more by their emperors, than by the spaniards, because the brain washing was a weapon of control that ultimately turned on them.

  • I am not too versed on ancient Incan culture but I can see your conclusions as being very, very possible, and very very probable.

  • Go to the nearest University in your geographic location, and spend some quality time in the library, specifically any books written about the native americans. Many college and university libraries across the country accept public library cards; find out if yours does.

  • Is that an insult or what? If you meant well then ok. If it was an insult please save the insults. I actually would like to agree with you on your penultimate comments about the incan empire. But as you may have been able to tell I don't like to make opinions about things I have no knowledge of. i can't speak on the workings of the Incan empire in particular but what you spoke of is a very common and negative aspect of just about all empires. I can't see why the Incas would be exempt.

  • Just saying University libraries are the best source; I can't name books, but I can point you where to look.

The best places to find stuff on the native americans is the anthropology section, generally history and anthropology are lumped together. I even found a book once called "sexual practices of the ancient world" I think it was called. What I found there was shocking; did you know in ancient egypt the women used crocodile shit for birth control? Same way you use a cervical cap!

  • on the same token, not everything you read is true even if it is found in a library. Many scholars have been mistaken and have made untrue conclusions. Some have even lied. Anyway.. . ok. Have a good one. Btw, even if that is true (which I really doubt) why do you think they would have chosen crocodile crap? (I really, really don't even believe that).

  • Number 1, there is really no reason at all to lie about that. Two; you can't really come to "untrue conclusions" about hyeroglyphics. The MOMENT scientists come across ancient writting claiming this or that works this or that way, they IMMEDIATELY test the claims in a laboratory and, what can I say, crocodile shit has a very potent spermicide. Lastly, there are whole libraries dedicated to ancient Egypt, LIBRARIES, so, that infor is KINDA hard to fake.....

  • Interesting. But what are the draw backs of using crocodile crap? Yeah, I think you can imagine on your own. I know I wouldn't want to touch my wife if her stuff smelled like crocodile crap! Oh well, maybe that's my cultural bias talking. Or maybe not. I guess I may never know. Thanks for the info. Peace.

  • Ancient Egyptian women also had sex with animals.

Why do you think the law books of Moses in the bible repeatedly say "do not do as they do in egypt?" Everything the old testament forbids, the Egyptians did it, and, mind, so did the Hebrews, as they had picked up nasty Egyptian habits. Although the evidence for the exodus is still hotly debated, what IS known from hyeroglyphics was that the ancient Egyptians were EXTREMELY depraved.

  • is that muppet still talking sh*t !

  • LOSER

  • Ooloosoon you are a fucking idiot! If the crap you were spewing was anywhere near the truth, which it quite clearly is not (based on REAL scientific evidence, not just some shit your inbred mate told you), you would easily fall right at the bottom of the 'brain size/IQ' chain.Anyone with an ounce of common sense would find an academic like Diamond who has spent a lifetime studying the subject matter,a more respectable source of information then you and your racist narrow minded fictional beliefs.

  • You know..... I thought Ooloosoon was pretty confident with his stuff... until I checked it out... and it's not concrete at all.... I'm so disappointed D=

Next time quote papers. Science Direct or something. Not books. Not thin air.

  • The sweeping alleles we see are mostly regional - you see them in one group and not the other two. A fair fraction are neurological and likely to affect behavior in some way. For example, you see new versions of SLC6A4, a serotonin transporter, in Europeans and Asians. There's a new version of a gene (DBA1) that shapes the development of the layers of the cerebral cortex in east Asia.

  • It is my belief that IQ tests favor some cultures and underrate others simply because some cultures are more familiar to, say, sequences (always an important part of an IQ test). If a test section was called "find your way back from the jungle to your house", the results would be quite different. Ooloosoon, I read about Dr. Lynn and I couldn't find that section on brain size, just IQ. Would you provide the exact study?

  • Diamond overlooks genetic changes that accompanied agriculture & population growth. A recent book 'The 10,000 Year Explosion: How Civilization Accelerated Human Evolution' discusses this. See the Moyzis paper:

Recent acceleration of human adaptive evolution · Hawks, John, Wang, Eric T., Cochran, Gregory M., Harpending, Henry C., Moyzis, Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 2007 December 26; 104(52):

  • At 4:50 "A continent virtually empty of its indigenous people, by Old World diseases brough by Europeans." --- More like a whole hemisphere, or half the world! Yet, it was Europeans who called us savage?

  • So too sum it all up. If you have lemons, you make lemonade.

  • We're all the same (full stop.)

  • Because, demexii, there is no difference in the brain or nervous system tissue. Only in the immunities that they've acquired. It's because Europeans lived such unclean lifestyles that they got those immunities. Small pox had been a problem since Ancient Egypt.. LISTEN and LEARN!!! Don't be a pig!

  • king atahualpa is so hot in this video...mmm me want some of that

  • The Inca's could have used a mulligan.

  • he gave them $463,168,000.00 worth of gold by todays gold prices

  • Wow, love this documenterty, I was a bit skepticle at first, but is becoming increasingly obvious that this is quite valid. I am doing my term paper on this, and i am really excited

  • Man I like this doc. It's so interesting.

  • It's good to be white .......

  • Greedy Whites

  • the harsh winters molded the europeans to be barbaric, ruthless and territorial more then likely due to the lack of food. if food is scarce your going to fight for it so that your clan will survive. if you successfully fought off the invaders you kept held your land, for the invaders it was the next settlement, forcing them to become conquerors. i'm sure certain tactics were created thru trial and error and passed down to the following generation by teaching and not genetics like you say...

  • Do you have no fucking life? So what? Leave the genetically less "blessed" alone. Even though Europeans gained technological advantages, they still chose to slaughter the world. I'd say the nature of killing is worse than deficient genes...

  • ''they still chose to slaughter the world.'' Again I repeat... whites came along WAY after the blacks had been slaughtering, enslaving, robbing, and raping each other. If it was not for Europeans today, Africa would be dead..

  • What about the civilizations in ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, and India? They were all in warm areas. They predated the first European civilization by at least 1,000 years. The first European civilizations, I might add, were also in warm areas (the Minoans and the Mycenaeans in the Mediterranean). I won't even begin to refute your claims on genetics. Please, refrain from irrationality.

  • So, let me get this straight. While Europe was populated by nomadic and semi-nomadic stone age clans, some of their most enlightened blonds and redheads migrated to the Fertile Crescent and neighboring areas to rule upon their sedentary and agricultural civilizations who happened to know about metallurgy? Admittedly, being a blond myself it would be most flattering to believe. Unfortunately it just DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!

Please do let me know what your post-1945 sources are.

  • WHERE do YOU THINK "Europeans" COME FROM because nearly ALL of Europe was under a mile thick sheet of ice called the ICE AGE

The ONLY European Tribe know to have lived in Europe through the last iceage are the Basques of the Far Western Coast of Spain/France. (ice free region)

MOST of the European tribes lived futher SOUTH at that time and the worlds Ancient Civilizations TELL US they FOUNDED and BUILT the Planets great Ancient Civilizations.

Thats NOT my Opinion, thats a FACT

  • 1. The last glacial period in Europe ended about 10,000 a.b.p. (First melting started ~14,000 abp).

    2. The first civilization, Sumer, first settled around 8K bp in the Fertile Crescent. They developed agriculture ~7K abp, a dynastic system and writing ~5K abp.

    3. The first Sumerians came from modern Ethiopia via the Arabian peninsula. A wave of Semitic people would arrive later. Their melanin levels were lower than their Ethiopian ancestors, but not as low as Caucasians.

  • 4. Caucasians originated in...the Caucasus perhaps? Where the mutations to adapt to lower levels of radiation started? Some of these mutations date to ~11K bp.

    5. Caucasians most probably came in contact with Sumerians, but by no means they built that civilization.

    6. You claim that from their legends, these Anukaki started it all. If you take ancient legends so seriously, perhaps it makes sense to you that the world is 3K years old, and some tribes crossed magically the Red Sea.

  • 7. Caucasians migrated westwards bringing with them the technology learned from the Sumerians.

    8. We agree about the Basques.

    9. Egypt was a Northern African civilization. They possessed some technology and techniques from Sumer. The Berbers are the genetic heirs of the ancient Egyptians.

    10. Ramses II was white and red haired, that's the evidence. Red and blond hair is present among Berbers to some degree. But, not all pharaohs had these traits. Just look @ King Tut's reconstruction.

  • 11. About India. There is substantial evidence that Caucasian people arrived when the system of castes was already established. They only adapted to it. Because it was based on agriculture, they were able to ascend socially.

    12. The first European civilization was the Minoic civ. Based in nice and warm Greece, not in freezing Northern Europe.

    13. Claiming that race is this almost magic factor behind the inequalities in the modern world is just not rational.

  • 14. Dr Diamond's hypothesis is far more credible.

    15. Those studies of Dr Lynn are based on incomplete and rather questionable data. I agree though that IQ is related to physical constrains such as proper nutrition on infants. But the claim that IQ is correlated to race is just affirming the consequent.

    16. Sorry for being so lengthy, but someone has to attack these archaic ideas instead of attacking their defender (ad hominem attacks). That's not how science works.

  • Im honestly not sure what your missing here?

Science KNOWS there are LARGE Racial differences in Brain Size/IQ

NOBODY DEBATES THOSE FACTS..just the source

Research shows RICH BLACKS still have LOWER IQs than Dirt poor kids from China

Science KNOWS that about 80% of your Brain size/IQ is GENETIC (from study of Twins who grow up in different environments)

...And now Scientists even KNOW some of the SPECIFIC GENES THE PRODUCE THOSE DIFFERENCES.

And those Genes differ BY RACE
