If anyone ~ a good number have I believe ~ had or has a special pet, this movie will rip your heart out. Frankly it gave me bad dreams of losing my pet as a kid. But the only thing that kept me from hating the movie completely is the happy ending.

This always remembers me of my 4 pets. I had 2 cats but one of them died. He was my best buddy. I also have 2 dogs, but one is very ill now so there's a chance he won't make this week. But when I hear this, I'll always remember them with a smile. :)

Most amazing score ever. My mind is imploding with nostalgia. Reminds me of a simpler time. A sunny day in my bedroom...watching homeward bound 1 and 2. Three years ago I got a cocker spaniel puppy and named her Delilah like in the second homeward bound xD lol I watch these movies and quote them by heart because I love them with my heart :)

Nostalgia!!! When I was young I didn't pay so much attention to the music, but more to the action and the characters. But now I listen much more to the music and I can say it's wonderful. Fav moment from 1:50 to 2:45, love it :D

This song makes me feel so nostalgic, joyous and sad... I remember this being one of my favorite films growing up (still is, though i had forgotten for so long).

I always felt (as a kid) that I went on that journey with those three :) made me a little sad when I realized they were trained animal actors.

Based a true story, which was probably more accurately told in the older Disney film "The Incredible Journey" though obviously no one knows how two dogs and a cat made it that far.
