  • reminds me of solar jetman

  • played this on the bbc, specy and amstrad cpc lol loved it.. but dude your a thrust beast!

  • Is this Master compatible?

  • @thelyniezian I now have a Master and a copy of Thrust to be able to answer this question myself, and the answer would appear to be: yes, until game over, and then it crashes (the system, not the spaceship!)

  • Great game, I had it on the Electron.

  • check out gravity crash on ps3 :)

  • This was the first game I played

    <3

  • Fantastic game! And you play it so well! Well done! I would ove to get to play with a BBC micro. I never got to see one here in Australia.

    .-.-.

  • Acorn made well over 1,000,000 of the critters. It seems incredible how much they go for on eBay. I expect shipping from the UK to Australia to be pretty high. If I ever come that way, I'll bring over a few!

  • hey do you what the online game very similar to this is?. its a 2 player game with the gravity movements where you have to race around through caves like this and first to the landing point wins. i dont think there is any shooting involved. i had it on old pc and just cant find it anywhere online now

  • @vk4akp Check eBay again - there's one for sale in Aus right now. Looks pretty cheap to me!

  • nice to see you destroying the reactors as well.a lot of people never bothered.great game, great memorys! I want this on my ps3! 2.99 from the playstation store! go on sony.pleeease!!!!

  • 10 PRINT "I LOVED THIS GAME"

    20 GOTO 10

    RUN

    x

  • You should have said:

REPEAT PRINT "I LOVED THIS GAME": UNTIL FALSE

  • Memorys of playing this game as well !! When i had to load the tapes....it could take 30 mins....to load tapes up...was so pleased to have flooopy disks..

  • this game was £2 on the Commodore 64 - a Firebird budget game. MircoPower charged full price £10 for the BBC version in 1986.

  • It was and still is a great game. I assume that at £2 it was the version that came on cassette tape. I used to have the Atari 1010, Atari 410, and C64 Datasette tape drives. IMHO, of those three, the Datasette was the most reliable followed by the Atari 410. My Atari 1010 broke down because it was one of those cheap Tramiel-made ones. Damn Tramiels putting out cheap Atari crap. Damn them all to hell.

  • Oh man, this game was frickin' HARD! Just watching this video, I've never been so nervous! Will he, won't he? Sorta thing.

  • woo yay!

  • Quality. A real blast from the past. You should still be destroying the reactor on levels 4 & 5 though.

And the best way to deal with the zero gravity levels was to turn your telly upside down.

  • And here I was thinking I was the only person who did that with the TV.
