I went to shot show and was disappointed that 75% of the vendors were sales persons who could answer little about the firearms. I went to the NRA booth and asked about fighting the Philly and New York gun laws. Their answer "we only fight battles we can win" make you own assumptions.
@StatenIslandPrepper This was my first year at Shot. I was running pure excitement. The primary function of Shot is to sell products not deal with Media. In a few boths i was treated like a second class citizen!

When I went to the Kimber Booth and asked them if they ever heard of a problem I was having with my gun, the person quickly found a "old friend" he had to talk to! Don't they realize that our word of mouth sells more guns than all their advertisements?
I have to admit that the Glock booth was the most friendly and informative.
