His prime is long over and he's just hanging around for the cash. RJJ doesn't fight at middleweight anymore he floats around the heavierweights now. The MW div is packed with good talent so you don't know what you're talking about there.

A title that pretty much gets handed to anyone with the slightest bit of name value. He has lost in boxing to anyone remotely decent and in the past few years has fought only a few bums. The IBA title is lower than the soon to be dead strikeforce title by MMA standards.
