  • i just lit a fag, and then took a leave in the blink of an eye+

  • Just want to say that this is the FIRST song that I ever heard from Jethro Tull. I immediately loved it and it made me a Tull fan for life. I heard it from "M.U. The Best of Jethro Tull" on a green Chrysalis 8 Track my brother had. I have the album on CD, but don't really like the fact that to get to this part you have to fast forward to it. But this has always been my favorite song and thanks for posting it and all the other classics!

  • Absolutely .....FANTASTIC!!!!

  • Does anyone hearing this think of the TV show The Prisoner?

  • Overseer!

  • Passion Play had poor sales compared to previous Tull albums, but l remember on one interview, lan Anderson said it was his favorite for it's "energy". l would have to agree . l believe he said it on the 3 record radio station "white" album that came out after Heavy Horses . l should dig it up, fire up the old turntable, and give it a listen.....it's been awhile .

  • ;erhaps one of the most underlooked albums of 73

  • One of the greatest all-time prog-rock compositions I've ever heard, 'A Passion Play', and this is indeed my favourite piece from the album, among all the fabulous bits

  • i absolutely love "a passion play edit 8 " admittedly it is the only 1 i have heard, but still the best in my opinion

  • I am the overseer of the year.

  • Are there pre '80 live shows on dvd?

  • God I love Passion Play. Best Tull album... so ahead of its fucking time... this part is one of the best.

  • thank you 1989 awsome!

  • OHHHHHH this hit the spot

  • isn't it kind of funny that my favourite Jethro Tull song doesn't contain any flute?

  • @StarfireSystems Well, you get sax instead.

  • if you have a look at my channel, you'll see that I've posted the whole Passion Play album. Enjoy it.

  • I know I will thankee :3

  • Interestingly enough. lol

  • Wow, Could someone get the entire Passion Play song on youtube? :3

  • hey tecwolfen, i'll do that, promised. i'll tell you when it's posted.

  • Ty Aqua, nice to meet a fellow Tull head :3

  • incredible!

  • I am the overseer over you!

    thank you for posting this

  • Too bad there are any better video clips of this concert. I went to see this in Detroit-incredtible. Tull: musical geniuses all-Marty Barre very underrated-he played a part in the JT play. Like the Beatles, almost every song they did was good. Tull will forever be with me.

  • again ian as always is flat under rated , a good lp fast and fun just a dreamy fun lp a tull fan always . jlr peace

  • Great song more like an enigma.
