uhhh a European truck is NOT better than an American truck. that's absolute hogwash. i like European trucks just fine, but in my opinion and according to my personal preference, i could never take one over something American. trying to argue that the European stuff is "better" or "tougher" is simply ignorrant and foolish. it's only your opinion, and a lot of people don't agree with you.

Well ok there are other models. But really all those gauges etc. no sorry. The only good ones are the US volvo ones over there. awkward for you maybe. As you never driven one. Air suspension on the cabs and axles etc. Nothing wrong with it. But then again we don't have to live for weeks in the truck.

a drove a few cabovers....let me tell you...they suck.....

right now i drive about 500 miles a day and return home everyday............... I drove a 379 with 21 gauges...and it was the best truck i've ever driven....

as for cabovers..i will never...ever....drive one again.....if i want to clim up and down something i'll go to a mountain lol....

i just lost the count of how many times i almost fell from them....

Nur bei PKW's können diesel nicht mit der sportlichen sound der Benziner mithalten. Aber dass ist nur bei sportwagen ein thema.

Fahre selbst diesel pkw, und bin voll begeistert (Honda Civic 2.2 CDTI) sogar 3-Liter benziner lass ich stehen bei zwischenspurts auf der Autobahn.

Trotzdem nur 5.8 liter verbrauch im durchschnitt

I've seen videos of Scanias with left hand drive, I assume somewhere in Europe as well as right hand drive, obviously in the UK and Australia. Why does this truck not have an OTR market for the U.S.

No euro trucks dont have jake brakes . The closest is volvo with Veb same design asjacobs. Rest have exhaust brakes(crap!!) and gearbox retarders which are better than jakes some say!!!.
