Jude 22-23 tells us the two ways to reach out to the lost. I have used both many times and have seen God begin to work godly sorrow in the sinner's life. God's word is likened to "fire", a "hammer", and a "sword" (Jer. 23:29 & Heb.4:12)

Remember the one that Abraham interceded with on behalf of Sodom and Gamorah, Came to a religious people, who made outcasts of lepers, and said "Father forgive them for they do not know what they do." Abraham did not have the insight into God's love enough to ask that he spare them all, but Jesus did. Jesus told them it was worse for them on the day of judgment than Sodom and Gamorah, because if the works that he had done would have been done there they would have surly repented.
I think it is laughable that they make it out like they are Christians being persecuted. The Castro is full of homosexuals that have been rejected by the christian community. Think about how many of those people used to go to one church or another. They were not being mistreated for Christ in my opinion. I read the abstract. That artical was not "condoning of some adult-child sexual encounters" as you said, but rather it found that there was not much trauma. (which although is an objectionable and simply inaccurate conclusion, does not "condone" child molestation.) In any case, it was unanimously defeated.

With regards to your argument that general acadamia cannot be trusted at all on these matters: well theres not much that I can say about that belief/conspirasy theory, and there is a good chance that we will not meet eye-to-eye.
Psychology and sociology are NOT science per se, so when you mention "actual scientists" you are excluding ALL social and psychological research. Just because one applies probability and statistical methods in the analyses of their data doesn't make it "scientific". The APA is condoning of some adult-child sexual encounters and has sold out to the homosexual agenda, who would want their endorsement on anything. The American Academy of Pediatrics has also sold out.
Having done my degree in psychology and sociology, I tell you we could argue about whether they are scientific or not for a very long time and still get no-where.
I very much doubt the APA is condoning paedophilia. If you can provide some resourses Ill argue the point.
Research can take place outside universities of course, but such research is more prone than usual to bias. If researchers believe that X is true, and their research (and their research alone) confirms X, it seems unlikely.

For those who think it was wrong for them to go into the gay community to witness, you are sinning. God sent all of his disciples INTO the dens of sinners to spread His love and tell of His salvation. They were living their faith and doing what God commanded. God even sent Jonah into Nineveh (which was about as bad as that neighborhood) to tell them they were sinners and to turn back to God. As Christians it's our job, not a request from God. I really hope the LGBT community did not do this, I would be very ashamed of them had they done that. We are better than that. Who is to say that if this was God's work you would not be in situations like this? Scripture is full of people letting God work and ending in situations worse than this. I know some of these people and know that it was God's work. All they were doing was worshipping on the street corner. So according to you it is not God's work to worship. I agree that homosexuality is the least of the Church's problems. There are whole lists of ailments inside the churches (homosexuality being one of them) that desperately need attending to. It's wrong for Christians to think God wants us to work, work, work ('outreach') all the time just because our bosses are like that. You can only give what you have, and Christians need ministry first; God will take care of others through those who can actually minister without feeling obligated.

Matthew 7:1-5 is where Jesus is warning against judging as a HYPOCRITE. We are to judge righteously (Leviticus 19:15-18/ John 7:24/ Luke 12:57).
Matthew 9:9-13 has "repentance" removed in the NIV and others that use the Nestle-Aland Greek text but even these have the whole verse (with "repentance") in Luke 5:32).

Jesus said in Matthew 5:48, "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect." 1Peter 1:14-15 and 2Corinthians 7:1 says to be holy and to perfect holiness in the fear of God.
I have ministered to thousands of homosexuals over the years and I preach repentance and have seen godly sorrow begin to work in their lives. I also minister with EX-homosexuals and we always preach like Jesus and the early disciples preached and ministered.

Jesus died so we could have fellowship with Him, but it's just wrong to take advantage of His sacrifice and ignore what God says is wrong once we hear it.
Yes, we stumble, but the Holy Spirit is there to help us, and we repent and turn back to God.

Jude 22-23 tells us the two ways to reach out to the lost. I have used both many times and have seen God begin to work godly sorrow in the sinner's life. God's word is likened to "fire", a "hammer", and a "sword" (Jer. 23:29 & Heb.4:12)
and it's time for God's people to knock off the singing and pick up His word and use it skillfully.

Abraham did not have the insight into God's love enough to ask that he spare them all, but Jesus did. Jesus told them it was worse for them on the day of judgment than Sodom and Gamorah, because if the works that he had done would have been done there they would have surly repented.

I think it is laughable that they make it out like they are Christians being persecuted. The Castro is full of homosexuals that have been rejected by the christian community. Think about how many of those people used to go to one church or another. They were not being mistreated for Christ in my opinion. They were being treated that way for pretending to be superior and super spiritual. I think the whole thing reflects where our country is at.

There are some Christians who reject homosexuals, yes, and they're wrong for that. Jesus hung out with the sinners all the time...He loved them, and we should love them too.
This group did nothing to them. They were praying for them to be redeemed and to see the truth, they weren't harming them or putting them down in any way.

Jesus was calling them to REPENTANCE (Luke 5:32). 2nd, Jesus spent much of His time debating the religious leaders and ministering to the multitudes through miracles and signs.
Stay in your home to do "warfare" and to pray, but when you go out you need to preach and testify (Acts 4:23-31 speaks perfectly about this).

Jesus, the pearl of greatest price, also gave himself to torturers, who abused Him beyond anything we would even want to look at. We "turned our face away from Him" because His agony was too intense to watch. But it wasnt in vain, neither is witnessing to those who YOU say are "tares." If even ONE of those rioters sees the light of Christ in a believer, its all worth it. Many of them are just following the crowd, their heart is not in it to beat up little girls. May they be SAVED!

I have spoken with some people who were there when this video was taken. They have no recollection of hot coffee, is there a police report of video proving such an accusation? Also, the whistles were being blown to cover the sound of your unwanted intrusion into the GLBT neighborhood. The man at the end who is rightfully indignant says it best, "Why can't you just leave us alone?"

Uh...actually, Blacks and women got the freedom to vote from court cases which later led to changes in laws (usually representative votes...NOT ballot initiatives).
Civil rights are extended to minorities not the majority..."the people" are generally understood to be white men.

I read the abstract. That artical was not "condoning of some adult-child sexual encounters" as you said, but rather it found that there was not much trauma. (which although is an objectionable and simply inaccurate conclusion, does not "condone" child molestation.) In any case, it was unanimously defeated.

Psychology and sociology are NOT science per se, so when you mention "actual scientists" you are excluding ALL social and psychological research. Just because one applies probability and statistical methods in the analyses of their data doesn't make it "scientific". The APA is condoning of some adult-child sexual encounters and has sold out to the homosexual agenda, who would want their endorsement on anything. The American Academy of Pediatrics has also sold out.

Having done my degree in psychology and sociology, I tell you we could argue about whether they are scientific or not for a very long time and still get no-where.
I very much doubt the APA is condoning paedophilia. If you can provide some resourses Ill argue the point.
Research can take place outside universities of course, but such research is more prone than usual to bias. If researchers believe that X is true, and their research (and their research alone) confirms X, it seems unlikely.

Actually, Iran guarantees the recognition of Christians, guarantees representation in parliament and family rights, when Christians make up less than 1% of the population.
LGBT persons just disappear and their existence is denied.
