  • Hail from Mikinakawa Lodge 101, Malia'Cones Chapter in Plano Texas. I just finished my ordeal last night, and received my sash. :D

I am so honored. I shall follow with my Arrowman Brothers and cheerfully serve my community, country, and world. :D

  • Make no mistake what Dr. E. Urner Goodman said in the 50's is just as if not more relevant today. With adults coming into my lodge and chapter who just want to control and control and control Dr. Goodman understood the problem and created one of the best arguments for youth leadership I've ever heard. All Officers, Arrowmen and advisers should listen to this as it's relevancy 50 years later is astonishing.

  • @punch9992 Hahaha goooo bro, Micconope Chapter Tipisa Lodge 326 :P

  • why in the photo did they wear the sash on their left shoulder?

  • In the old days, before the Brotherhood bars, the sash over the left shoulder indicated Brotherhood membership. Vigil was represented by wearing three sashes

  • I agree that this is a must see for all arrowmen. I saw that at 3:40 on the certificate it said "Unami Tribe". Did they used to be called tribes instead of lodges? W.W.W.

  • Glad you enjoyed the film. Yes, for a very brief period, just over a year, starting in 1935 all Lodges were directed to call themselves Tribes. This was to further distinguish the Order from its fraternal - Masonic roots. It was not widely accepted. Unami Lodge did issue a badge that said Tribe.

  • Love it. Thanks for sharing it with your fellow Brothers

  • Thanks for all the support and comments!

I stood in line 3 hours on a hot July day in 1974 at Camp Lanochee section six conference to meet Dr. Goodman and get his signature on my brotherhood sash. He was old and distinquished then and was wearing a campaign hat!
