I heard that they are waiting for the English Dubbed version copy to come out (Funimation got the licence about a year ago and have yet to premier it). They want to see how well it dose in America before they invest to make a whole new sequel story.

I'm also obsessed with this anime, I've watched the two seasons twice and some episodes I have watched more than that. I've read the manga, and I do so every time it comes new chapters. But still, if there isn't going to be a season 3, then I'll be incredibly sad. All I know that is almost certain to happen is the english dub on season 1 and 2, but nobody knows for sure about the season 3. It'll probably not come in a while though people have been wanting it since 2009 and it's 2011 now.

Well after the information i have gotten from several Hardcore fans of R+V this is my conclusion from ALL of their facts adn rumors.

1. It might happen when the manga is finished (about 200 i believe)

2. Season 3 might come out around this year (over 500 say this.. literally)

3. Its is comming out, it's just the workers of Rasario are short on people right now so its kinda slow for them ( over 300 people)

4. It will never happen because thats it ( over 200- 300.... jerks)

Gonzo which was the company who made the animation dropped the production of season 3 because the lost a lot of money during the GFC but, there is a chance another company will pick it up and remake it or Gonzo restart the production. As for the manga, it will be a while for season 3 to come out since a chapter is released monthy, but I think season 3 will be made once it gets up to around chapter 40 in season 2, It is currently on chapter 33 and that was put up just a few days ago.
