I think she is all underrated, If you look to artists like Lady gaga, taylor swift or Beyonce they are all overrated... Mariah can really sing and write pop and r'n b hip hop songs and looking hot

@TheAnkheart of course there are underrated MC songs and all because her conflict with her at that time label Columbia + also after the 9/11 aftermath, Glitter + Charbracelet albums didn't do well + many of the songs were underated. "Butterfly", "Can't Take That Away", "Anytime You Need A Friend", "Endless Love", "Cry Baby", "Through The Rain", "Angel's Cry" ect ect. Those are songs that are underrated!

I loved it and I think I played it non-stop in my car for about 2 months and was so sad that no one else was really into it. I also LOVE charmbracelet and think its sooo underrated! Actually "Stay the Night" is another of her underrated songs.  That and "We Belong Together" are the only songs of hers from the 2000s that resemble her old Columbia songs.

I think the Hype for mariah was there so her 1st single should have been I'll be loving you long time(#1) then.. Touch my body (#2) keep it going with Migrate... the Love story... I would've put "Boy (I Need You) on the list. It was one of her greatest uses of a hip hop sample but I think it was too soon after the "original" to remake it. I know what you mean, i loved the AGT performance especially the beautiful whistle notes, but the belted notes were coarse and harsh. But I think thats only because she belts "fast" nowadays. I mean listen to We Belong Together, and then Never Too Far, the belting (apart from the long note in NTF) are so much faster in WBT. When she slows things down, like in Mine Again, then you can tell her voice is still there.
