At 11:43! I had been waiting ESPECIALLY for this and assumed that it would be the last song in his supposed 1-hour set but it started half an hour late and lasted almost 2 hours! It was a good show though! :-)
serieusement Stevie wonder continue a m'impresionné.His voice is amazing his songs are amazing and his talent is unreal. Thank you stevie for all your great music and for you to come and sing to us in Montreal
Is this when Stevie changed some of the lyrics to honor Michael Jackson?
Once all the great icons of the previous decades pass on, there would be nothing left of the magic of music of the 20th century the way today's music is heading. It's a grim prospect to think we'd be stuck with the likes of Brittney Spears & Jessica Simpson. The day the music died is upon us.
Yeah, and before he started the show he dedicated the performance to MJ, which I thought was a nice touch. He also played a couple of MJ's songs. Very touching.
I have to agree with you that MJ's passing is the end of the great era but I think we have better lagacies than BS (yes, really!) and JS to remember, thankfully!
You hit the nail right on the head. My take on this issue is that music never REALLY dies... really! However, todays technology has drastically shifted the dynamics of the industry and how music is marketed and perceived by the populace. To make my point, if Amos Lee for instance (a genuine talent in my book) had surfaced on the scene during the 60's or 70's, he would've risen to be one of that generation's greatest legacies. Instead, it's a rare when he's recognized upon my mentioning him.
EXCELLENT VIDEO !!!!@@
