  • LOL It was wicked

  • Me too, i was there ;-))))

  • i was there

  • isn't it fitting that this festival's initials are MJ

  • Cool! Any chance of a free ticket?! ;-) I'll buy you a drink!

  • and you missed the fireworks as well!

  • Yeah, wasn't too bothered about that though cos I'll see them at LaRonde on Saturday! :-)

  • lol yes.... i work there or i go see them at the oldport

  • hes at laronde tomorrow?

  • or tonite i shoyudl say?

  • woah woah woah !

when did he sing this song !?

i had to leave early so i couldn't stay for the whole show :(

  • At 11:43! I had been waiting ESPECIALLY for this and assumed that it would be the last song in his supposed 1-hour set but it started half an hour late and lasted almost 2 hours! It was a good show though! :-)

  • ARE YOU SERIIIOUS !?

WE LEFT AN HOUR EARLIER !

    argh, i'm pissed NOW ! '-_-

  • Yeah, I left just after that song and it was midnight by the time I got up to Sherbrooke and that's when it finished!

  • it was one of the last songs of the show before the memorial of MJ

  • He played a couple of MJ songs early on too.

  • Merci pour le beau souvenir!

I was standing right about there too!

  • You're welcome! See you next time maybe! :-)

  • Oui, je suis d'accord! Меrci beaucoup!

  • serieusement Stevie wonder continue a m'impresionné.His voice is amazing his songs are amazing and his talent is unreal. Thank you stevie for all your great music and for you to come and sing to us in Montreal

  • Is this when Stevie changed some of the lyrics to honor Michael Jackson?

Once all the great icons of the previous decades pass on, there would be nothing left of the magic of music of the 20th century the way today's music is heading. It's a grim prospect to think we'd be stuck with the likes of Brittney Spears & Jessica Simpson. The day the music died is upon us.

  • Yeah, and before he started the show he dedicated the performance to MJ, which I thought was a nice touch. He also played a couple of MJ's songs. Very touching.

I have to agree with you that MJ's passing is the end of the great era but I think we have better lagacies than BS (yes, really!) and JS to remember, thankfully!

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • You hit the nail right on the head. My take on this issue is that music never REALLY dies... really! However, todays technology has drastically shifted the dynamics of the industry and how music is marketed and perceived by the populace. To make my point, if Amos Lee for instance (a genuine talent in my book) had surfaced on the scene during the 60's or 70's, he would've risen to be one of that generation's greatest legacies. Instead, it's a rare when he's recognized upon my mentioning him.

  • unbelievable!!,,,,thnx for postin this

  • My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it and glad you dropped by!

  • A great night! Thanks for the incredibly quick post... I was also probably standing right next to you...

  • haha!! Say hi the next time! :-)

Yeah, it was a really great night and I'm glad I went!
