I implore all Romanians to love and nourish its Hungarian minority. Promote their well-being so that new Bela Bartoks may be born and more interpretations of Romanian dances can be heard. May art be the force of our unity.
@TudatThought7Imagine Romanians do appreciate the Hungarians. They gave then all the rights they can enjoy! They even have their own party, let them make Hungarian language official language in cities where they're a majority. But the thing is that the Hungarians want more: they want autonomy, that's why Romanians and Hungarians are always fighting.
@AndyKordo If autonomy is the key to fixing our issues, and moving forward to a better tomorrow, then why not grant it? Personally I think that's a minor price to pay for the love and betterment of our communities. One of the biggest mistakes for the K. Hungary was their refusement to grant autonomy to their Romanian minorities, so why make the same mistake again?
@TudatThought7Imagine Saying something is easier than doing it, isn't it? Both countries (Hungary and Romania) joined the EU voluntarily (with the purpose of being united with the other European countries). Doing something like that would seem absurd (autonomy also means separation) and the European officials wouldn't like it that much.
@FrankfurtStrings Well put! Szeryng was the violin in the sense that he just knew how a piece is supposed to sound and how to play it without it ever sounding laboured.
Hey thanks for sharing this gem. But any idea who the excellent pianist is?

Much better than Hillary H........He's got much more flavors, and doesn not sound mechanical unlike HH.

The pianist is just as amazing as Szeryng..

@tjpark0420 Indeed he is; he's so much into the moment playing that piano score just as Bartók would have played it himself.

Magnifique... Quand on écoute tous ses Grands de la musique, ce qu'on fait avec notre petit violon nous parait bien faible!
