we can also solve the value of x without using the value of y and z.we knew that the sum of the measures of the angles inside of the triangle is 180.the supplement of 120 is 60,the degree measure of the other angle is 45 bcoz it is vertical angle to 45,then we can make an equation of x+60+45=180. x+105=180  x=180-105 x=75
