@sakaleve1 That's because originally Richard Hunt was the primary performer of Piggy, and he gave her a dryer, deeper voice than Frank Oz.

Miss Piggy was operated by Richard Hunt who then went on to Perform Janice - listen to her i.e. Miss Piggy a few times to see.
And Frank Oz who went on to Perform Miss Piggy, Performed George the Janitor.

What ever happened to DECENT family entertainment. My mother used to watch The Muppet Show with me when I was a kid. I think she enjoyed it as much if not more than I did. I think I was probably 14 or 15 when it first aired. I wish I could find the dvd set so I could watch it now with my grandchildren.
