A lot of your style is not what I would play,and I'll be honest.I can't even play a lot of it.I would like to learn(and am)because it couldn't hurt to know,and maybe use bits of it in my own style...That being said,you do know your stuff.Whether it's my cup of tea or not and I actually love the tone you are getting for what you are doing.I think anyone making any bad comments on this,probably aren't at your level of playing,so it makes them feel good about themself to insult your own style.

The more abuse, the better. It "seasons" the guitar. In the long run, that will be an instrument that will bring more cash to sale. I have seen old, worn out looking vintage guitars that play well, and will sell for hundreds of thousands. Of course, it will help if you are a famous rock star!

I've had 5 Strats, American and MIM and to be completely honest, I can''t tell the difference in the sound or in playability. I've got a MIM Tele and it plays and sounds as good as a USA Tele. Unless you just want a USA Strat or Tele go ahead and pay that extra $500 or so. By the way, great playin'.

There are a lot of scales and patterns and thinking going on here.....if you care for speed or not; the guy has a lot on the ball. I liked the video the best when he actually slowed down and hung on to a few notes. I have a hard time "hearing the tone" when it's coming at me at 5000 notes per minute but that's just my taste (it means nothing unless you're me).

I think that it's hard to sound fresh when you play this fast...you need a lot of ideas to keep it coming this fast.

Please don't wreck it man. Mexican strats are quality instruments that just happen to be made in mexico. I call is musical racism ha ha jk. I've been playing for 12 years and having played everything from jacksons to LPs. Mexican strats have been some of the best and most versatile guitars I've ever played.
