Had my Cooper S for 2 years and it's great in the snow! As long as it has traction control you're all good. It even handles better with dedicated snow tires. It's no SUV, but it handles well.
is one of the best handling small car out there. If it goes like crap in the snow. the others go worse. Is a great little car, just a bit too expensive.
@infoowetrust this car is a horse in the snow 2 snow storms in a row in pa 2009 had next to near bald tires was in the worst of it. never got stuck even in 2 ft snow i made it off my block which doesn't get plowed i had to help like 5 people from being stuck because they were in my way you'll be okay get some good tires and know how to drive

Too expensive? They are $21-23k brand new (minus options that is). And, considering they are made by BMW, I would say that's a pretty good bargain.
