@isecboys I have a front brake, I can ride ALOT faster with a front brake. Having to slow down 100 mtrs before every drive way, footpath entrance, road etc... is not for me. I like to ride my bike fast and enjoy the ride, not either have to start resisting every 20 secs or worrying because I cant stop quick. Plus I will not be fined by the police for my lack of brakes.
BTW I am a real man, I have testicles to prove it.
@2luviz2h8 I find it helps if you shift your weight as far forward as you can. Basically, try to make sure your chin is over the front hub....this will give you more room to pedal.
I started practicing these about 2 months ago, and can now do as many as I want until i get dizzy. But the best thing I discovered was my tip above....shift yourself forward dawg!
shifting yourself forward is only to maintain balance on bwc's, but if your going to ride fakie, (backwards in a straight line, being able to steer, etc, whatever), you need to sit down and keep your weight shifted to the back.
its really not that hard. just dont bail and keep trying. Ive been practicing for like a week off and on and I can easily do 3 spins each time sometimes more.
Thanks agentpaper2006! Yes indeed Chrome makes a wicked bag; the origins of which I think began in San Francisco, where the messenger industry burgeoned during the Gold Rush days that had our historical equivalents pedalling around delivering telegrams.
man, i'd never put that together! one thing i want to ask you, is that just a username or do you actually have a courier job? Because i was thinking of having a courier job on weekends during the school year.

@williamguchi This man knows what's good. If you want to learn to ride backwards, raise your seat a little and sit your ass down.

It's also pretty tough to ride backwards, but i give props to the guy for learning to ride backwards, takes some serious skill.!
Thomo451 3 years ago 2
riding backwards in a circle is pretty obtainable on a fixed gear so i doubt they reversed it.

I'm wondering if they're just running the video in reverse to get this footage???
VanMessenger2010 3 years ago
nope! he's actually riding backwards, riding backwards on a fixie is pretty easy :)
