  • is it deep down theer?

  • i feel sad.Is it true that people are still there trapped ? I really feel sad.Why dont there break down the ship slowly and remove the cropses ? I mean with todays technology it would be easy.Has anyone ever been inside before ?

  • @rasboi First, this a National Memorial and nothing can or should be removed. Secondly there are no corpses. Salt water has long since dissolved anything organic. The only things left are the bones. Third, because the ship is so unstabled due to the corrosion divers are only allowed in far enough to inter the remains of any survivors. The only things allowed inside are ROV's which are used to monitor the deterioration of the ship. The sailors died the way they wanted. With their beloved ship.

  • thats not the bow....

  • how deep is the water there where its siting?

  • that looked like the crows nest...

  • the bodies of the soldiers are still in there for 60 years???? why havent they tried to pull them out?? or tried to pull out the whole battleship.... peace by peace ... its not like its 5 km under the water ... its been there for 60 years .. everyone can see it! i just can't understand this ... its scary! :S

  • @Chelsea7077 It's a grave, that's why. plus the Arizona is so badly mangled that there is no way to enter the hull.

  • @Chelsea7077 they feel its disturbing they're gave

  • @Chelsea7077 would you like someone moving you when your dead its the same thing as moving you Asleep they leave it there to rest

  • @Chelsea7077 It is clear you have no understanding of history or tradition. This a revered site, a MEMORIAL to all who served, fought, and died. One day you will have go there to understand. Don't let the movie Pearl Harbor cloud your judgement. It is nothing but a glorified love story, Tora, Tora, Tora is much accurate and will give you more insight to the American emotion at the time. Also read my reply to rasboi. I was in the Navy stationed at Pearl. I saw the memorial every day.

  • i shut down pearl harbor on easter sunday

  • i went a couple years ago, and it was really amazing.

but i picked up an empty doritos bag that was dropped and about blow off into the water. i. was. so. mad. don't litter on a gravesite.

  • That's actually the stern of the ship.

  • actually thats not the bow thats the top of gunner turret 3 :D

  • i use to life in honolulu pear harbor for 6 years and my dad has a peice of that arizona

  • Jesus fucking christ. Did you have to spam that shit on every video? Seriously, once or twice is good enough. This is fucking too much.

  • Troll

  • He speaks the truth in away. The Jap envoy in DC was suppose to declare war 15 minutes before the attack, but their own code was so complicated the envoy didn't have it translated tell after the attack began.

  • i was there in 05 it was so sad just thinking bout all the people who died

  • The Arizona blew up in half when a aerial torpedo hit the magazine room (ammo storage) it blew it up it sank entombing 1,100 of her sailors the turrets were removed (the big sockets in the ship) and used for the cost guard defense I bet the ship is haunted.

  • wouldnt be surprised if it was. bless those sailors. never even knew what hit them probably

  • Thers still over 1,100 sailors onboard her decks.

  • True Viper 1108 Sailors Still Defending There Country On The Ship While God Is Protecting Them... ¥Ö Thanks For Serving All Military

  • the arizona memorial is a beautiful place there on oahu in hawaii , i ought to know ... i was there 23 yrs ago , hawaii is the most beautiful state . i would reccomend any 1 who has the time and money to go to hawaii and c for urself

  • They say the Arizona still leaks oil to this day. It

will continue to leak oil until the last survivor of

    the USS Arizona dies.

  • There was no attemp to recover anyone from the ship. So all the Sailor that are traped on the ship remain there. And yes nature has gone thru its coures for over 60 years.

  • The corpses of the dead soldiers are still in the ship??

  • Yes.

  • @Pitchlock thats good, i would like seriously no sarcasm... down with the ship

  • @Pitchlock that's cool!!! and disturbing...

  • there are no dead soldiers on the ship.... sailors and marines

  • whats a bow of a ship?

  • Its the front end.

  • Dragon, the bow is the term for the front of a vessel. Stern is the rear, Port is left side, starboard is right side. Midships is the middle.
