  • thousands of years later in a nation nothing like ours, you all focus on his orientation instead of what he conquered at the age of 25. Wow. Pat on the back for you all.

  • One of these slaves looks like the slave who attended Atia and the series 'Rome' -the big bald guy.

  • I have her headdress! at 2.17 hahaha it was $15

  • The concept of sexuality as we know it today did not exist in the ancient Hellenic world. No one was qualified as GLB etc as today. There was only the concept of Love and it was normal for people to love each other regardless of sex, it was customary for Men to marry and have children with women but also to have love affairs with other men in very strong bonds of friendship. In fact, in the Hellenic language there is no distinction phonetically per se of the word "kiss" and the word "friends".

  • bum ba-bumbum b-b-bum, whenever there's a courtyard full of women, wine and all sorts of exotic stuff, this rhythm is playing

  • omg thank you, this is one of my fav scenes from the movie, am gona share it on facebook rit nw :)

  • awww i loved it when he said ''he too alexander''

  • @AyameAmuro He really said that in a real life. LOL that was really funny, you were right He had a great sense of humour. Sarcastic, sometimes edgy, but gr8 otherwise. For example, when the Persian eunuchs was assined to sing persian songs for him (they sound like Muezzins songs a lot), he began to laugh and said that the loooong, shaky sounds remind him of shrieking of the mating cats LOL

  • @Calucifer13 omg aleaxander said that in real life !!!!!!!?? ^^

  • @AyameAmuro Yeah, he DID.

  • @Calucifer13

I did not know the mating cat joke he crack, lol.

Could you tell us more about his sense of humor, please?? It's not something we can find in the history book.

  • @curvaceouskiller452 I am sorry, there are known only few things that he said in a joke. This was one of them. I am sure I would recall more of them if I was struck with some scene from this movie, but presently, I cannot recall another. Try to look into various books about him, they could be there (the jokes).

  • WHAT THE HELL IF ALEXANDER WAS GAY HOMO HE WAS THE KING AND HE WAS THAT HE WAS POINT. A GAY OR BIXESUAL WHIT A SWORD READY TO BEHADING YOUR FUKING HEAD OFF. yoU bastaRD! READ SOME BOOK IGNORANT.

  • @BerserkJheova he wasn't gay, that's just in the movie, gay people can't be real kings lol :P

  • @X5Exotic Were on earth did you learn history? Did you even go to high school? Alexander the Great was gay as was Achilies history is full of gay kings, empeiors, pheros ans saltons exc your statement shows you have not a clue as to what your talking about but with todays youth why should it be any different to you igborance is bliss i guess

  • @Michaelprotectsme proof that he was gay? nah, what u learn is lies, gays can't be like alexander lols

  • @X5Exotic What about the Spartans? they fucked each other, or the Samurai...i wouldnt call them "gay" though...the concept of sex, love and marriage was SO different back then...

  • @X5Exotic They were all bisexual, homosexual practices were set as part of pedagogical pederasty; though the Greeks didn't like feminine men, they called them a word i don't remember; and "taking it" was submissive and taken as a dishonor, so it was mostly only for slaves and male prostitutes. Aside from that, only traditional marriage was condoned because it was not about the desire of the indivuduals, but as the social unity of procreation, and most marriages were arranged from early

  • @X5Exotic 1 Were on earth did you learn history Achilies history is full of gay kings. 2 Alexander is Bisexual.

  • Well, in his defense, sacking the Persian Empire while it was in economic disarray was a pretty sensible move, for a Greek. Given the history of the Persian Emperors trying to add the Greek colonies in Asia Minor (as well a Greece itself) to the Empire.

  • Alexander was not Great. He attacked Persia when he was 24.He was trained to kill.

When he captured Persia, he amazed with Persian civilization

He did know how to govern, so he burned the Perpolis killed thousand of people and the attacked Afghanistan and Pakistan.

That's why, Hollywood grimed this actor like

    George Bush.

    Alexander was not blond.

He married to a Persian lady, because he found Persians civilized that only pray on God and they practice " Good Thoughts, Good Deeds and Good words"

  • Alexander was great, he accomplished more in hiis life of sitting on the shitter then you could ever hope to achieve if you were given a thousand lifetimes to complete your goals. He conquered many nations but always proved to be a just leader showing mercy and civility to the those he eoncountered, he spared lives even though it led to his and his own family's demise. Greeks were mostly blond, those who weren't were mostly of mixed spanish decent which Alexander wasn't. Read a book sometime.

  • @impartial1 He was 20 when he conquered Persia, and yes he was great. Persia was still strong, even though they had just lost a king. Their economy was still 300x better than the Greek economy. Darius could still fund 250,000 man strong armies to oppose him, and Alexander was outnumbered in all of his battles against Persia. Let's not forget that Alexander was benevelent and kind to the Persians, unlike most conquerors would have been.
