I just showed this to my nine-yr. old son, seeing as this video is fairly benign compared to most of this sort. After he gasped and cried with me....I explained to him.....this is why we've never gone to the "circus" and will never .....ever go there. He agreed to never take his children there also...some day. I agree, this is wrong. How would they (the animal kidnappers) like it if some bigger creature smashed down their home and killed their family, and then forced them to 'perform' for a crowd of loud people. It makes me hate the Human race sometimes. :(
Even though I am all about world peace, and try to follow Jesus when he said don't hurt people or get revenge, if I saw a person doing this, I would go absoloutly mad and beat the living day lights out of them.
I noticed that after that "Same Abuse" thing. The elephant was walking with the man and he hit it FOR NO REASON!!! I hate how they force animals to perform and beat them into what they 'should' do if you think in terms of there abusers
great job.maybe if enough people see vids like these they can shut down the horrible conditions that the innocent animals have to endure. just because an elephant doesn't want to do a stupid human trick does not give anyone the right to beat it. and tell lola that dinkey says "meow" :}

Circuses with animals are horrible. Circus elephants spend 96% of each day chained up and the other 4% performing miserable, unnatural stunts - which put in danger the life of the animal, as well as the audience sometimes! Ringling has paid over $70,000 in fines concerning the care of their elephants in the last two or three years alone. I just wore my "Boycott Ringling Brothers" shirt today actually =]
Thanks for uploading this! I remember visiting an animal circus many years ago, and I got absolutely NO enjoyment from it whatsoever! I'm happy to say the circus I went to does not use animals any more!
And think about it - animal circuses are virtually empty... compared to Cirque Du Soleil which is sold out every night!

Horse racing is terrible "sport". When the animals are no longer fast enough to race, they're replaced, and discarded. It is sad indeed :'( I love horses!

You see, the thing is animals need freedom :-) Dont we all? They are powerful beings gifted with special abilities and instinct that make them survive in nature and do wonderful things. To keep them, train them, and show them off is just a mockery of what the animals really are IMO.
You know what I mean? I'd rather see an elephant in all it's glory in the Discovery Channel, than taken away from his individuality and purpose, rotting in a circus.
