as said repeatedly before me, it's all a matter of opinion, Yahtzee didn't really like Oblivion, Dantes Inferno or dead space but I did and so I will play it because games boil down to fun, good games are fun while bad games are not fun, its true that different people like different things but if a game is poorly made and doesn't do anything well, it isnt a good game (look at too human and two worlds)

This style of reviews is dependent on the quality of one's speaking voice. The thing about, say, Yahtzee or Nostalgia Critic is that they're not just clever writers, they're also skilled performers with a natural understanding of comedic timing and intonation.
Slagging Zero Punctuation is pointless. He knows he's being harsh, but it's working for him and it's a nice contrast to reviews from the likes of IGN who may as well just have their writers suck off the game developers for the most part.
Also, as someone rightly stated, this guy sounds like a douche so he can't pull it off, nor can he make the video look appealing.

Like I'm playing Dead Space 2 right now and he said on his video about the first game that it looks good and plays good, but it's bland. Well they improved a lot here in 2, so I think he will have a better opinion now and I still like Dead Space, despite his review.

Having now worked in video production for over 6 years and having used both Mac and PC. I will tell you the following. Mac products are generally inferior to PC, EXCEPT for sound. For some ungodly reason Mac really does have its "shit together" on recording voices, mixing and producing a synth sound track that actually sounds fairly real. Video editing wise, Final Cut Pro can suck my balls, it is not superior to Premier in anyway. Editing on PC is generally faster and just as stable.

Just search parodies in youtube, it will give you a good idea of what a parody is. As for this video, I found it quite amusing, 5 stars.

This style of reviews is dependent on the quality of one's speaking voice. The thing about, say, Yahtzee or Nostalgia Critic is that they're not just clever writers, they're also skilled performers with a natural understanding of comedic timing and intonation.

Slagging Zero Punctuation is pointless. He knows he's being harsh, but it's working for him and it's a nice contrast to reviews from the likes of IGN who may as well just have their writers suck off the game developers for the most part.
Also, as someone rightly stated, this guy sounds like a douche so he can't pull it off, nor can he make the video look appealing.

@LordVidra to be fair tho, we watch it for his opinion, delivered well with comedy value. I would be a bit sad if ppl just took the word of reviews as set in stone. If the game appeals, rent it, forge your own opinion and buy it if you liked it. Ppl who do just take the word of reviewers deserve to miss out on games if they cant think for themselves.

Like I'm playing Dead Space 2 right now and he said on his video about the first game that it looks good and plays good, but it's bland. Well they improved a lot here in 2, so I think he will have a better opinion now and I still like Dead Space, despite his review.

@LordVidra If that is the case, then those people don't have a mind of their own and deserve to lose all of their enjoyment from life. I enjoy watching Yahtzee for his hilarity and his game reviews. I do not follow him blindly, but watch and see which games I should get. His reviews are his opinion and if your opinion makes you a troll then everyone is a troll and in that regard NO ONE is a troll.

Having now worked in video production for over 6 years and having used both Mac and PC. I will tell you the following. Mac products are generally inferior to PC, EXCEPT for sound. For some ungodly reason Mac really does have its "shit together" on recording voices, mixing and producing a synth sound track that actually sounds fairly real. Video editing wise, Final Cut Pro can suck my balls, it is not superior to Premier in anyway. Editing on PC is generally faster and just as stable.

It's called a parody. In the world of Parodies its ok to steal someone else's idea and twist it for humor's sake as long as it is in good taste and pays homage to the origin. Just search parodies in youtube, it will give you a good idea of what a parody is. As for this video, I found it quite amusing, 5 stars.

the problem was that you never switched from the segway image. I know you were trying to make that part of the joke but it still seemed like you were cutting corners instead of making a complete review. This goes for the "I don't know what to put here" slide and calling out the Headless man as you being lazy; any of these jokes are funny in moderation, but they seemed to be the only ones in the review.
