Hell i've dug up the actual smash 64 website that even LISTS L-CANCELLING AS AN ADVANCED move, on the OFFICIAL SITE, back then sakurai just called it "smooth landing" but it describes the same thing as L-cancelling.

the yoshi thing was not a glitch! you can make all charcters freeze in the air by jumping and pressing L or R.

@elpacoenfuego Wave dashing is a glitch, the reason why its still in the game, is because developers dont remove glitches. The reason for that is because the commands/events required to trigger it would most likely not happen in regular play. They only remove a glitch if it can easily be done, or would happen very often, often enough to make the game crash, or unplayable.

In the bottom right corner of the screen, it tells you the game it originated in, as well as the month and year of the game's release. It has the original game listed as OoT, when it was really LttP.

He didn't like the glitch so he do another air dodge. Sakurai hated every glitch in Melee and take it out from. The next SSB they will take out DACUS, Pivot Boost Grab, etc..., but at the same time they will another glitches, maybe L-Cancel coming back

L-Cancelling wasn't a glitch either.

The creators put them into the game intentionally. Wave-dashing was put into the game because the creators though "Oh, what should happen when the player air-dodges into the ground?". This has been proven from interviews and hacking.

Lol they actually they didn't do like that, actually they knew about the glitch, but they didn't programmed it was an "accident". Sakurai knew about this and he is like "Um... Whatever is just a little slide" Thu if he knew about how people is using it these years he would take it out. It was in 1999 that the game was developed so what we could wait for?

Mewtwo and Lucario are not clones. They have ONE move that is the same, Shadow Ball/Aura Sphere! That's it!

Knowing about the "glitch" and not removing it pretty much revokes it of it's "glitch" status by the way.

Oh, also, if you use an action replay and turn on the code which shows you the name of everything (Like, using forward b makes text come up saying "fspecial1" or whatever), and wavedash, it calls it "landingfallspecial". Which shows that the devs named the action of landing in the middle of an air dodge.

THE FIRST GLITCH; Notice how he's in practice mode. You know how practice mode keeps track of the damage you've given you're opponent on the right side? Keep an eye on that and look at Mario's damage. The way Luigi attacked Mario caused the left damage meter to go backwards.

THE GANONDORF GLITCH; Notice how far the sandbag goes when he punched it while facing it. The second time he punched away from the sandbag and it was sent even further than when he punched it while facing it.

Rather funny, I ran in to a few of these myself, not all though.

I remember I lost a Brinstar Depths game because of the fly through the course one. We were on the little platform when it went to the bottom, and I got hit up, instead of hitting the ceiling and coming down, I went up through the course and fell in the back.

Another weird one that happened was, in one match the CPU Captain Falcon kept stealing lives from us, and it wasn't a team battle. Never seen that happen more then once.
