  • that would be awesome on a pair of green flats if you are making a tinker bell costume!

  • BURNINGMAN!!!!

  • this was very interesting. i will never wear shoes that light up unless its halloween but i think i can use this idea for other projects. thanks for the clear explanations!

  • Hello Internet!

  • I guess you could say she's "LIGHT" on her feet!

  • i totally have a multimeter at home-_-

  • Holy adorable!

  • Hello laptop screen !

  • you can add a 9 volt battery a switch and have it be a little more convenient just make sure the led's are soldered to resistors and everything is wired right though this will be a bit more complicated.

  • You always have the best ideas Becky! And they're techonologically savy too. ^.^

  • I love it! And the music is awesome (:

  • i would just skip the led part

  • why do i watch this..

  • Totally cool!

  • These would be cute in red and green for x mas

  • this is so adorable! wedding is a definate good idea!

  • Genious

  • Can you use a different type of rosette with this as long as all the connections/wiring are the same?

  • nice idea and tutorial, just be aware some leds need a resistor to work right,

  • wut is this for, so u wont get lost in the woods?

    lmao

  • Wrong glasses, you look like a fish

  • Make an LED lit Jack-O-Lantern brooch for Halloween....or a black cat with light-up eyes!

    :-D

  • Smart, resourceful, not at all like the average stuck up dopey chick and completely worth mentioning ..truly beautiful . . . marry me o.o

*Rank +1 in creepy internet guy achieved *

  • LED sewing kit? I think I just had a craftogasm. This is exactly what I needed for the projects I have in mind. I had planned to use LEDs and fibers in sculpture but I didn't know I could SEW the wires. Brilliant!! Oh my...must buy supplies!! Thank you so much for the tips!

  • I love these! What if I live in Mexico and they don't sell LED sewing kits? What can I use for the conductive thread? Just any thin wire will do?

  • hello internet

  • *Jawdrop* Soooo cool! I gotta try this.

  • It's so Chanel Fall Haute Couture without the Chanel Haute Couture price.

  • This is such a rad video, Becky. I love how feminine and pretty the shoes ended up looking!

  • If you were to make shoes that has this, but permanent, you could run some copper wire up the inside of the shoe to a switch, so it lights up when you tap your heels together. And Becky, I f@$king love you!!!

  • hang on why isnt she in the kitchen

  • She's such a smarty. :P

  • amazing

  • Very Cute!

  • were these chanel inspired?

  • @beachballsify2 Of course these were Chanel inspired. The lights from Chanel Fall Haute Couture, the yellow fabric color from Chanel Resort. lol

  • no switch? how to shut the LED off?

  • @asarabiya just take the battery out!

  • @craftzine thats what i was gonna say! (;

  • no current limiting resistor ?

  • @xng14 The thread has nontrivial resistance, plus these LEDs are /tough/. =]

  • @xng14 3 volts really isn't that far off the forward voltage drop for yellow LEDs

  • lol wow this is so genius!

  • You're awesome Becky! (Matthew from MakerBot lol)

  • I will apply this at my security shoes so I be able to see the ground in the dark storage room.

  • the clips are nice but i wouldn't use them on shoes. cause it lights up under your skirt.... ehem.

  • THIS IS AMAZING, AWESOME, EXTRAORDINARYYYYY... YOU ARE A GENIOUSS!!!! ♥ SUPER LOVE IT

  • awesome!!!!

  • This is great! I love making shoeclips!!!

  • Don't you get paperclip marks on your feet?

  • @ranthoron Nope! It fits in the spot between your big toe and the rest, hardly even noticeable.

  • I think I'm gonna need a tech guy for this project!!!!!

  • @billkaulitzluvagirl You can do it! Be your own tech guy! =]

  • Going to make these for my wedding shoes :)

  • HI, does the paper clip leave a mark on your foot? And does it hurt after wearing them for a long time? Thanks!

  • @sexylilaprons Try it out! You can buy dedicated shoe clips that are less likely to poke you, but I used what I had around.

  • @craftzine Thanks, I think the lights in it are awesome! I will try it out!

  • would suggest NOT putting the paperclip so that it touches the backside of the battery, but rather to sew another pocket so that there's no way that you could unintentionally short something out...

  • Nice legs :)

  • very nice idea

  • I think this should be looks great in a fairy costume.

  • Lovely and so original! I love your ideas. By the way, thank you for adding subtitles :)

  • SO pretty! :)

  • i love this idea its so cute... wonder how i can do something like this for mens shoes..

  • I love this. I wish I understand wiring better! Lol

  • Hmmm, I'll have to think of some way for this to work on a guy.

  • ITS A GOOD IDEA

  • Really neat looking~ All these videos keep making me want to fiddle with LED lights on clothes XD <3
