york must be one of the few cathedrals that who's outine is not wrecked by high rises , and it's amazing to hear this recording from before the big rebuild !!!
@leedshunk I agree. London Cathedrals are spoilt by all the high rise buildings. they are no longer the focal point of the city which is a damn shame.
What a magnificent photograph of York Minster. it shows just how massive it is. One of the largest Gothic Cathedrals in Europe if not the world
