hey Ben, yes i know..alot of people have had unusual weather patterns..
The Vadis Atwell family does have a pretty place. please come visit again.. I always enjoy hearing from you and reading your writings. Do that write for a living?
Check back if you want to on the mini series writing. I explained a little better. Maybe that will help. On # 2, I think, I wrote a little about Papa and Mama Atwell's history.
Talking about the garden and showing the tomatoe plants. When I was a kid on the farm we had gardens and we had truck patches also. We raised so much stuff that we sold potatoes and beans by the bushels. Actually I had a garden all of my life until the last 7 years. One year I canned over 100 qts. of dill pickles and it was over 100 degrees in this trailer where I lived and we had no air. The air conditioner had quit working and that is the truth.
Joan, it's truly beautiful country. You do real well with the video camera. I sure do wish we would get some of that rain that you have been getting. We are in a terrible drought out here in No. San Diego County. We can only water our yard on certain days of the week and only for 5 min. per sprinkler. Can't even wash our car. Makes me want to join you there in Louisiana...now on to #4 Doug :o)
Oh Yeah! Home grown tomatoes, and HUSKY'S at that! Will go good with my ice tea. Now don't show me a big old Louisiana watermelon, or tell your in-laws. . . . . . I'm on my way! LOL! MoJo
Howdy Joan - we had the same trouble up my way this summer with all the rain. It's a beautiful place they have.

Doug,
Wash our car, huh...It seems like nature has been washing our cars lately for us. ~~In fact, I bogged down in the mud over at the in-laws.
..But at times it gets real dry here and we wonder if we will get enough rain to to cut grass for the cows.
Just like I said on my bio page, everybody talks about the Louisiana weather changing often. It comes in spells.
~Hope y'all get the RAIN you need.
Now.....on to the next VIDEO!

MoJo,
~Come on! In-laws got the tea and tomatoes.
..Our neighbors are raising 10 arces of watermelons and cataloupes.. Afterall what are good neighbors for!
..By the way, he is the one that Hal was cutting the 40 arces of hay with the other day when I was doing "In the Garden" on the accordion.
