only reason why mortal online wont be better then dfo is cause mortal uses unreal... and its a great engine for FPS but fails for mmos its not designed to bused for them.. its going to cause alot of lag and pvp issues that are going to be hard to fix, im not sayin mortal is gonna be bad and im also not sayin that darkfall is the greatest thing of all time. But darkfall works really great for pvp. even on euro servers. I duno i plan to try Mortal online anyways though. good grapics
And yes the animations are lame. But the graphics are still pretty good at high settings (you can't judge from a youtube video, look for high quality screenshots).
The attacking looks really awful, no sense of hitting anything except for some stupid blood splatter. I don't feel like there's any "feeling" to the combat.
Did you play the game ? Cuz where you're in a real fight you really FEEL the adrenaline. When you're in a team you really must be careful not to hit your mates and you're always active. Not a boring click&wait game.
it looks worst than daoc (dark age of camelot) lol. graphics animations and mechanicals are pretty horrid tbh (wtf is that at 0.38-0.41?)and enviroments are everything but inspirated.
As of right now there is no skill based melee combat, because block/parry is broken. Meaning you can't use it in close up combat but you can use it when you are at a distance from ranged attackers.
