  • pathetic! and what's that calling winter- winner hahaha....

  • Whats wrong with you people, I love rob thomas, and all... but Jewel's voice, its pure beautiful, I would kill to be able to sing like her. She doesn't need editing or anything just go look her up. This video, just shows that there voices do NOT collide, no ones under the other, but i'd argue any day with someone about Jewel's voice, don't hate.

  • Rob is amazing... But Jewel just needs to go... Ugh.

  • thanks for trying . i guess

  • Rob is my favorite artist. I just adore him, but his voice and Jewel's voice sound terrible together. These are two people that should never sing together again. This is so bad, I hate to say it but it's true.

  • uh... makes me appreciate the 'never to be out done' Beatles even more. Back to the original now.

  • hÎhi_ånÿ_gÜýs_want_tÖ_chÂt_wÏth_më

  • I like jewel. And her voice...

  • Where's Rob in the pics ? :(

  • yuck!

  • both of them suck bad kareoke

  • He was awesome but she was......okay.......

  • Comment removed

  • I dont Like This version Sucks!

  • where is Rob Thomas in your video?

without him have lost the best part

  • whwere is rob in the slideshow?????

  • èsta es la mejor versiòn que han hecho de here comes the sun, jewel ademàs està guapìsima

  • Alright, ok....

We ALL agree. Jewel is a great singer and Rob Thomas

well... he's awesome too. But THIS production, this "ditty"

is just that. A REALLY BAD production. It is not their fault.

I am positive that if they heard this, they would feel the same way.

Just chalk it up to a really bad song and moment. Omg...

    we have all had them.

  • However,

The Taylor Hicks analogy is even BETTER!!!

    LOL

  • Rob shouldve been included in the slideshow.

  • rob thomas lyrics? that is an old beatles song, written and sung by george harrison on apple records... album is abbey road

  • @lindaleigers Click the down arrow by that description below the video and you'll see what the person was posting. They weren't saying that these lyrics were by Rob Thomas. They just need to learn to use the proper punctuation.

  • To be honest though

I love Jewel's voice... lol just not on this

(Natalie should give her a call and advise her to stick

with her own voice.) That is probably as nasty as Natalie would get.

As for Rob... I love him too. He's an amazing singer...

But THIS???? Oh boy... whoever thought up this rainy day duet

    should be fired!!!

  • ROLMAO!!!

Omg it is Jewel and Rob Thomas!!!!

I just read the comments and believed she had actually

sung this song with Talyor Hicks !!!! Hahahahahaha...

Wow... this is just BAD for all sorts of reasons!!!

  • omg...

Too funny!!! Jewel as Natalie Merchant ????

Hahahha you guys nailed it!!! LMAO as far as taylor

im not sure .... But the Natalie Merchant analogy is so on!!!

  • @tobama08 no, it is not even close

  • @tmxd81

Well... ok I get ur point , which is EXACTLY my point.

Your response is ambiguous, grammatically speaking.

I hate responding like that. But you leave me no option.

I LOVE Jewel and Natalie Merchant. I was responding

to Jewels outright impersonation of Natalie Merchant's

voice: Both in style and tone. You cannot argue that.

  • too much song for Jewel and Rob...

  • are you sure this jewel... sounds more like Natalie Merchant

  • @sandman2366

gah. Jewel's attempt at sounding like Natalie Merchant...

  • @sandman2366 No, it does not sound like her at all.

  • well she sounds terrible

  • a great song from the best ever - and nice to listen jewel & rob sings the beatles...

  • and she messed up its not na na na na its do in do do

  • lol jewel isnt very good at signing this she really sucked at it

  • plagiarism !!!!

  • I love this!

  • didnt the beatles make this song???

  • lol yeah I believe so..I'll have to google that, now how do you spell the name of the band again?

  • WARKKKKKKKKKKK !!

  • Jewel is HotTTTTTTTTT

  • Okay where's my Rob's slide show? ;]

  • @wolfgirl83234

    lol...

  • que guapa es jewel

  • what a knock out

  • God good version,,, But this song belongs to high priestest of soul Ms.Nina Simone the Queen check one of the rare moment of musicality ever happened

  • @sternovirus this song Belongs to the beatles.

  • Where there is faith

    there is love.

    Where there is love

    there is peace.

    Peace that is a blessing.

    Where there is a blessing

    there is God.

    With God

    there is no need.!!!

  • Jewel is beautiful. Her and Rob would make a lovely couple shame they're both married!!!

  • She has a very good voice, but she demolished this beautiful tune. John

PS - background vocals are 2 1/2 stars at best. Johnny d la plya

  • Rob is awesome on this but Jewel...

  • @meercat101 Exactly. Rob don't need no stinky girl to sing with him. He's more brilliant alone. "Girls ruin everything".

  • @Celie3678 THANK YOU! Uhhggg.Rob is Perfection, and he dosnt need to do a duet with THIS^^

  • The best version ever is the 1970s Saturday Night Live version with George Harrison and Paul Simon trading verses, just two guitars, no band. Its constantly deleted by fucking YouTube, prob the asshole lawyers at NBC earning their paychecks.

  • This is awful.....

  • This is horrible........almost unbearable. How could they do this to George and the Beatles?

  • I think this song is so kick ass anybody can cover it and make it great. But I personally think this one is wonderful =)

  • I do not like Jewel at all but this is by far the best cover-version I know of.. so I don't get your concerns.

  • Sorry to say, but this version sucks and so does Jewel's singing cover on this song. The musicians sound pretty weak and un-inspired on this. If you are not going to do something well, you should not do it at all. This is not Rob Thomas's best effort either.

  • This is nice, but my favorite version is the Bangladesh version by George Harrison.

  • uauuuuu <3

  • FASTANTIC VOICE

  • sandy farina's cover in that awful sgt. peppers movie is better than this one.

  • honestly you gotta hear bon jovi's version of this. it's amazing!

  • omg that is so true! I was blown away by Bon Jovi's cover! This one isn't bad but Bon Jovi hit it on the head! :D

  • it's a good cover but her voice isn't right for it...i don't think jewel should have sung on it...

  • usually love jewel, but ya I like the beatles singing this better, (like accross the universe too, and blackbird)

  • Crack smoker voice...

  • Not too bad, but Jewel sounds a little off on this one to my ears...I could be spoiled by the excellent Nina Simone version though, and of course, the original.

  • i dont like this version.. infact its AWFUL!

  • It's not like you have to go and find the actual magazines. the fact that you posted a youtube comment would indicate that you understand the complexly interconnected nature of the world wide web. This is apparently however, not the case. Please continue to enjoy the world's largest networked database.

  • Gooooooogle is the magic word. And making a video doesn't mean they need a life. they are making it for fun. You actually are the one who needs a life because you had time to post such comment.

And not to be off topic this is a nice song. Thanks for posting it!

  • they are both amazing! great song!

  • Comment removed

  • amazing cover! from two amazing artists!

  • He's amazing. and jewel rocks too.

  • Wow, u remember it becuz it was in some crummy animated movie about a talking bee voiced by jerry seinfield, but you don't know it for what it should be remembered for.

    THE BEATLES!!

  • this was in the bee movie :]

  • Cool

  • Covering a song is total flattery. It's a good thing. While of course it might not be half as good as the original, the artist who covered it is just paying their respects to the original artist. ^^ My 2c.

  • why does everyone get mad about songs not being as good as the original? People remake songs for whatever reason. Mostly because they like it, a lot. And in an opinion of someone who has never heard the original, my nephew, he likes this song. It's an okay song. you can't compare it to the original, because it will never be the same. That's the point of a remake.

  • true, and in some cases i even like the remake better (not too much though).

  • what about the war?

  • chill people immitation is the sincerist for m of flattery remakes are quite often a tribute to the original artist they dont have to be the same or as good its just a fond way to remember something you loved

  • I have nothing against either singer. I really love Rob Thomas actually, but they totally ruined this song. The Beatles are amazing and it's hard to redo a Beatles song and make it as goods as they were

  • go get some therapy...you need 6 shots in the head if you don't.

  • dude...don't be so violent about what that individual said. That is rude and inappropriate, vulgar and everything else that goes along with that. Jewel is a wonderful folk singer, but this might not be her context, and that's ok. I don't like Rob Thomas' version of this either, but he's one of my favorite singers of his genre. She is also one of my favorites of her genre. Therefore, you are disrespectful of music for what it is. 'Nuf said.

  • He's right though this shit stinks. The original song is way better then this one.

  • PhillyGirl1294, John Lennon didn't sing Here comes the sun. George Harrison did. John was in the hospital at the time of the recording of Here comes the sun.

  • johnn lennon did better

    the origanal is always better

  • George Harrison did it better :D

  • Jewel ruined this. She used to be such a good singer. She needs to hang it up.

  • No, she deosn't need to "hang it up". She needs to go back to the style she used to do, and open it up a bit more to the public. She was good at that until she sold herself out for dollars instead of her passion.

  • Hmmm... I usually love these two... hmmm... something's off... Even Rob's vocals aren't so powerful ... :-/

  • I think it was live.

  • i usually love and adore jewel. in fact, shes one of my favorite female vocalists....but was this?????? her vibrato was outta control!!!!! : ( : (

  • I love this song, but when the beatles sing it, not them. They changed some of the lyrics, and she SO can't sing. They sound bad singing together!

  • aww loved Rob and Jewel together :)

  • oh my god i love this song it reminds me of all the happy times in my life!! xx

  • LLLLOOOVVVEEE <3 :'D

  • amazing cover! from two amazing artists!

  • nice version, but not much of persuasive

  • love it!!!

  • i love this sooooongggg!!!

  • love you jewel you are my favorit artist ever!!!!!!!!
