these giant tortoises sound like the Happy Meals of the animal kingdom. kill a buffalo you only get a burger. kill a giant tortoise get a burger and drink as well as a turtle shell toy.
@retteretter Well, I looked up that cartoon here(youtube) and the date of upload is 2009 June and it's earlier than the premiere of QI series G in 2009 December (it was in series G, wasn't it?), but i have no idea when the Qi episodes were recorded, so.... we still don't know (well, that was a waste of time, sorry :-)
@retteretter I saw the original QI Giant Tortoise and it was way after (years after) the Mitchell and Webb Chocolate Monkey sketch (which was hilarious).
I bet only the gamey tortoises are alive.
