That's a real fair embodiment of Browning's Dramatic monologue ,I could've sworn that he 's the Duke of Ferrara , Alfonso the second , However , that could have been more expressive if he had the proper mood , that is , the clothing and decor that fits the period (1559 - 1597).Bravo and Thanks for this interpretation :)
Very well read! I think that's the best interpretation I've heard - thankyou :) It really helped me get the poem in my head as I'm studying it for my GCSE this summer :)

Wow... Browning has never been one of my favorites: until you recited this work to me... I am impressed, and enamored of his talents. I will seek out more, and try to understand his work more clearly. You are quite something....
Robert Browning is one of my favorite poets and this captures this poem wonderfully. This and Porphyria's Lover always give me chills, they are so creepy.
David Olney is one of the greatest song writes that has ever been!!! Townes Van Zandt only wrote one set of liner notes... it was for David Olney;s album "Roses." I have seen him at least a dozen times... his shows are always great!
This is the second of your videos I've run into while looking up stuff for my Brit Lit class, and I've enjoyed them both. This kind of stuff is so refreshing compared with what youtube is mostly used for.
I can't help thinking your excellent voice could benefit from a good microphone. A condenser mic - you can get a decent one for a hundred bucks nowadays. Might take some doing to add the audio to the film, though. Not sure how much equipment you have.
Good performance, apart from the American accent. You really need to be English or German to do it properly. No American has ever been an aristocrat, and the accent is always problematic. If possible, try find the James Mason version. It's amazing.
Really outstanding rendition of this challenging poem. Simply performed but with so much realism . Your interpretation is superb, the delivery is flawless. I am at a loss for more words of praise. I look forward to more readings from you.
I'm so grateful to you sir.Its wonnnnnnnnnnnnnnddddddddeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Lovely performance, particularly the change of demeanour from severity to warmth after "Will't please you rise?" Bravo!

You make Browning come to life! Have you considered doing Andrea del Sarto? I think you could do it justice!
