This game was pretty frustrating as a kid, but there were many good things about it. The mini-games were my absolute favorites, especially in Level 3 where there's a carnival and a bit of Level 6 (Games mixed with mini stores). I didn't want to leave. But after spending painful hours trying to beat the game, you get the feel of accomplishment.

The passwords drove me nuts, though. Not that they were long, but sometimes, they don't work, even when copied correctly.

goemon is one of my favorite video game characters in my child hood!........yet some how, my entire childhood in gaming DIED. goemon's one of the child hoods. since konami doesn't port goemon games to the U.S, i can't find any nostalgia in games these days.i can't even find a good reason why konami is even a good game company if they don't bring their child hood memories back here. sure, they bring games like castlevania and contra the way old schoolers remember, but they never bring back goemon

Yes! I agree with this review! I love this game as well. I still have my original complete copy. One of the best games for my Super Nintendo! But for some reason I didn't enjoy the N64 follow up as much. 3D polygons just didn't match the charm of 16-bit sprites.

Is there a problem with sound sync in your videos? I've often found you making comments about stuff that appears on the screen moments before or after you talk about them. I bought this game for the vc and it's awesome. With the best boss battles. It even has the characters of Lone Wolf and Cub. It's a hard game sometimes and you may die many times, im in the level before the last. BUY IT!!!

I used to play this game with my cousins on the SNES, and we LOVED it. The multiplayer mode is so fun. Sadly, my friends and boyfriend can't seem to grasp the concept of staying away from projectiles, and not hitting the women. :\ We can't get past the seceon level without them taking all my lives. -_-

if it's spelled goemon then it should be pronounced as GO- and the mon part should sound like the word "Moan" so go-moan if it were as you pronounced then I'm pretty sure it would be spelled goeman or goman.

wow great review k-wing mystical ninja or more proper known in japan as goemon is diffenly one of the most fun and sadly overlooked games i ever played and sence you mention about the n64 game of goemon i used to rent it alot i think from blockbuster back in 98 i think and it was really the first goemon game i played i unfortunetly never got the chance to rent the snes game goemon when it came out in 92 because i was about 6 years old and my father at the time

I love this game! It's one of my favorite games on the SNES(one of many). The only real complaint I ever had about it was the time limit. Granted without the time limit the game may have become too easy, but there times that I felt I was being pushed towards the next part of the game. I also spent what had to be hours betting at the track :P
