Hi Mikebe41...I asked Courtney, and she said at home games the DCC were paid $35.00.

She was on the "Show Group" and expenses and air travel were paid by the DCC.

They did not get paid to travel, appear on tv, or to perfrom at events.

theyre not cheerleaders. they dancers. so i dont think the cheerleading is gonna help you much on making the team unless you do dance too.

cheer and dance are not much alike!!! i am a dancer i dance 30 hrs a week and a competitive cheerleader and they are too different worlds!!!! dance is so much moire that arm movements and pyramids! might i remind you to be a dcc you have to do a DANCE solo! and know how to do piroettes!

im not stupid. my old cheer coach used to be a sea gal for the seattle seahawks and she taught us everything she knew including DANCE.

yea and im a very competitive commited dancer and trust someone who dances over 38 hrs a week cheer dance and real dance are wayyy different!

i have danced, i have cheered they are different. but not as different as cheer and playing soccer. so they are sorta alike!

ya that makes since it isnt like highschool cheer where you learn new cheers eachday and then pull them out when it is time. They have other things and all that would not make them cappable of learning new cheers each and every day and you can tell with there other performances that they do that. Just thought i would say i agree

true, about the dancers working so much harder than cheerleaders. i wouldn't call this half as hard as any style of dance, being a dancer myself.

am a dancer and a cheerleader cheer is actually just as hard it takes alot of upper body strength. I have danced for 14 years in diamnonds and the rough company in newyork each summer and Cheer in highschool they both take lots of work dont doubt cheerleaders

my cheer team went to a competition at the cowboy stadium oct. 12 and we got to meet all of them and they performed it was omg amazing. we got 2nd place tho:(

i met elizabeth davis and she is on the all stars team and she said they were basically dancers with poms and um piggysmom.........dancers have to work very had believe me i should no if cheerleading is a sport then dang it dancing is also a sport because we work jux as hard and sumtymes harder than cheerleaders
