  • So happy I found this channel.... nice to meet you ..thanks... Huggss Harmony

  • @capriceharmony65 I'm glad you found our channel too. Nice to meet you!!

  • I learned a lot about myself by reading a book called "bi any other name" many years ago. Everything seemed to fit after that. I was in my late twenties at the time...

  • @phekwig I think I have heard of that title but have never read it. I'm so glad that these resources were out there to help us at all. Imagine facing all of this say in 1890?!

  • Do you know the name of the movie where one of the girls was keeping a pet hawk, that had been injured, and the other girl didn't share her feelings and she jumped off a building? That one really got to me. I just cannot recall the name of it.

  • @RiverBirch1967 No, I don't think that I ever saw that...sounds very sad. Thank you for your sweet compliment in your other comment. You are too kind!

  • @RiverBirch1967 I believe its.... Lost and delirious... that you speak of hon.. :-)

  • @Dakotalane78 That's it! That's it! Worth watching even if you know how it ends. Such a great movie. I will buy it now thanks to you, Dakota.

  • Do you ever look not gorgeous? :)

This is a wonderful topic. I want to see some of these movies...

  • @RiverBirch1967 I also, if I didn't have to take care of my cats, would not care if I lived past tomorrow.....

  • @RiverBirch1967 River, honey...once you are really honest with yourself about who you really are (meaning, when I finally was able to be honest with myself), living seemed like a much better option!

  • No way am I going to be able to compete with this one.

  • @SydneyTinker Sure you will sweetie...there has to be tons of transgender-related resources that you know of. I remember you giving me some great ones for our special page elsewhere. HUGS!

  • AWESOME vid!!!!!! Another great resource is "OutQ" on Sirius XM satellite radio. If you do not have it in your car..get a portable unit-not expensive.. OMG..you guys..I am addicted!! I love all of their shows..some are funny..some are very politically important like the Michelangelo Signorile show..2pm-6pm EST. It is just so fun to listen and hear other same voices. "We are not alone...."

  • @stoner829 Wow, Jim....that sounds GREAT!!!!

  • I'm so glad that those dark days are long behind me. Whew! We made it. :-)

  • My goodness Mic, this was such a fantastic video. You gave us so much valuable information, I'm scurrying around looking for a pen and paper to take notes. You know, I keep forgetting that you're still such a newbie to this whole coming out thing. It's only been 2 years?! Wow!

I really feel you on this one, from the story about your Ex being in the next room when you were crying over a lesbian movie to the story you revealed at 5:10, I swear we're so in sync. Pain is pain huh?

  • @estari4life Thank you so very much sweetie. No need to take notes, it's all listed in the info box. Yes, two years only but now it feels like I've been out for a long time. Plus, don't forget, I have been "bi" my entire life up until 2 years ago so it was a slow process. HUGS Glad we have truly connected on such a deep level!

  • wolfevideos are very good...I usually get alot of stuff from that site

great info on this vid Mic....

  • @gilbertblaze thanks Gilbert. Yes, Wolfe is GREAT!

  • For people who, like me, many times, have to deal with doubts because of their religious background, I strongly recommend "Bulletproof Faith" by Candace Chellew-Hodge.

  • @hlg1767 Oooo...that reminds me of a GREAT one called For the Bible Tells me So. It's excellent. Have you seen that?

  • @PaintedRavensong Haven't read it but I did heard about it and it is in my list of books I'm planning to read soon. Also, I am Hispanic and I would love to hear of anyone who have read any good book or any other support resource for LGBTQ in Spanish.

  • @hlg1767 Ooopss...I should have told you that For the Bible Tells me So is actually a video...a REALLY great video. If you are having religious conflict in any way, you really should rent that. If I hear of anything in Spanish, I will certainly pass it along!

  • Netflix helped me catch up on tons of movies, LGBT themed stuff as well, back in 2005 when I had an account. "The Hours" is one of the best around, although I had seen that in the theater when it was first released.

Kinda cool to hear the Yahoo groups are still active. I used to belong to a couple over 10 yrs ago but I don't even remember their topics all this time later.

    Gotta love the web!

    (((Mic)))

  • @OhCurt You should check them out now Curt...there's TONS on there!! Looking forward to your vlog this week! ((((((CURT)))))))))))))))

  • Now that I'm out to my wife and son there is no need to hide behind a second Netflix account.

See what the closet does to you! So sad. Keep up the good work Michelle and contributers!

    Gare

  • @gcubed413 I'm so glad to hear this Gare...I hope that your coming out to your wife was something that was not horrible. I hope that she is doing okay. Remember to send her to the straightspouse network for support...she may not even know that she needs to talk about it. All the best to you!

  • @gcubed413 p.s. Gare, I also just put the link to the Straight Spouse Network in the information box!

  • Quite the plethora of resources! I recommend Netflix as well. I do however caution that if you are not ready or have not come out to your spouse use caution when using Netflix. Your viewing history is readily available on Netflix I actually got a second Netflix account to keep my viewing private.

  • That's a great list of resources. I need to check out the Wolf Video website. I've watched a number of their movies on Netflix so I'm excited to learn there may be other titles that I haven't seen. Happy Monday to you! -Jim

  • @CountryComesToTown Thanks Jim...I was talking as fast as I could to get this all in...hehehe There are SO many great movies on Netflix right now and a lot of them you can "watch it instantly" on your computer. Fun!!! Happy Monday!!! HUGS!
