Whoever is playing Space Marine in the game clips doesnt know (appearantly) that Space Marines never retreat; they move ever forward.

@ZHBraden13 read the codex, combat tactics specail rule, any squad with this rule may choose to fail a morale check so they can fall back and regroup next turn. yes i am a tabletop gamer :P

Honour the teachings of the Codex. Tactical retreat is one of the tricks. It's called Combat Tactics.

@Kurtis424 Wrong, they doing it when the Space Marine player decides to automatically fail the morale check. =) Unless you playing a special scenario or using a special character (like captain Lysander).

@Kurtis424, Yes, I do. Tabletop version is much closer to the background of the universe, and it's more logical then the others (10-man tactical squad, capable of dividing in 2 combat squads, is much more awesome then 4-man from DoW II).

Although, in the grim darkness of the far future there is no logic, as we all know. =)

@kozak981 Indeed, Space Marines don't retreat out of cowardice, they do out of strategic value however, "Life is the Emperor's currency, spend it well." :)

@wiggawithattitude The scene of them fighting the Eldar is from the opening cinematic for Dawn of War 2 and the scene of them leaving a dropship is from a cinematic in the campaign for Dawn of War 2...I assume you mean the Blood Ravens cause I didn't put the Blood Angels in it ;)
