had the game since i was about 4 n now im 19, still cant pass the 9th lvl.and 4 all these years, i was flying throughout space n fighting various or weird creatures and spacecrafts...in various of weird but creative worlds n planets for THAT THING????? my god the boss rush was more difficult than... than... THAN THIS LAME EXCUSE OF A MASTER BOSS!!! lol

Ah yes, the final stage... me thought the stage before that was going to be the final stage when i first got there. Mr. Bacteh never had a chance at winning lol. Anywho, now you're done with that one ,i'd love to see you play the arcade version on the hardest difficulty without save states, if you can actualy do that, i'd have to give you the biggest medal ever made :P

@AllGhostwritten Well, I don't know, I have this on my Wii and don't have much problems completing this even on Arcade difficulty. It's somewhat faster yes, I think there is a bit more slowdown on emulators

I still have this game on my SNES, I tried it on hard mode and I can't beat the last level.....just so freaking hard. Its also full of awesome..

have you ever tried kinda super hard that the shots come so freakin fast and the enemies become intelligent that you can barely made it with 3 speed ups. mmm i think you try it

Yeap, this is under an emulator. The sounds might sound a bit clearer and different than on real SNES.

@drgnforce4ever It's a Gradius tradition, the final boss always just sits there and does nothing. xD The final stage is so hard, so it's kind of the "last boss": The final boss is so weak it needs all the protection
