there are still plenty of toilets in the UK that have high cisterns and chain flushes like that most where you can see the cistern and pipes.

But the handle looks like it is so high up. How can someone, even children reach up that high to pull it. Even teh chain pullies in England are not so long so that a person can't reach and pull on it.

Brilliant! It's interesting the way the handle comes out the ceiling and the pipe does a bit but goes back into the wall, it also by the sound of the clanging it sounds like it uses a bell siphon.
