Sounds like Dr. Downing is a garden-variety pervert. What a shame he isn't in jail rather than preying on the innocent. I feel very sad for the two victims discussed in this video. Hopefully their stories will help to dissuade others from trying to cure what is not an illness.
That Downing guy should be charged with sexual harassment. I'd almost say sexual assault but that likely wouldn't stick. Good for Ben and Chaim for finding peace within and accepting themselves.

There is no limit to the irrational and RIDICULOUS 'cures' that religious groups will invent for their delusional believers, and while I do feel these guys were taken advantage of, I think they are partially to blame for putting faith in to something so OBVIOUSLY a lie. Of course, all of this could have been avoided, had they realized that the BIGGEST lies are the ones that suggest there's something wrong with homosex, or that 'God' exists in the first place.

Anti-gay folks DON'T WANT to make anyone straight. They want to keep gay sex underground, so they can have more of it, and control access to it, without anyone "knowing".
