The gears of the motor also move a lever back and forth. The eyes are connected to that lever, and move side to side as it moves.

My bachmann Henry works on my Hornby track, so it should work

Yes. All HO trains should operate on Hornby track and all OO trains should operate on HO track. Its just that couplers may not be the same. But Hornbys will hook up with Bachmanns.

Gordon wasnt out for bachmann at the time. This was when it was just, Thomas, Percy, James, Annie, Clarabel, TST1, TST2, Bertie, Harold, and Cranky.
