As to whether this is considered 'more evolved', you would have to ask an anthropologist as I only have a very basic knowledge on the subject, so am not qualified to answer that question.

All the descendants of the branch that emigrated later, about 80-90 000 years ago, have mutations that trace back to Eastern Africa. There have even been found really old remains in India, but they did not make it to become our ancestors, they died out.
I am "out" and have been for a very long time. It still boggles my mind how many people believe in all the crap that is god and a religious belief. Atheism will become popular in the 21st century, so the powers-that-be can whipe the Religious slate clean. Once science "proves" that God "doesn't exist", and once all Religions are ridiculed and outlawed out of existence, the powers-that-be will start up their HAARP sky technology to project a very real looking image of a new God in the sky. Then, the powers that be will establish their own world religion that the majority will start believing in, because it was an observable occurence of God.

@amountstax4 Humans who settled in cooler climates adapted by losing a lot of their melanin resulting in paler skin and eyes. As to whether this is considered 'more evolved', you would have to ask an anthropologist as I only have a very basic knowledge on the subject, so am not qualified to answer that question.

Human beings step away from God's love and eventually God gives us over to your own free will. He is our Father and he allows us to make our own decisions. But there are consequences for sin. The existence of a non-all-powerful god would suggest the existence of an infinity of "gods" which is a high improbability, if not an impossibility. Africa is a piece of land. I understand Dawkins himself was born in Africa, though clearly he was an immigrant there that moved back to the United Kingdom some time later. We're all apes, that is sufficient. But let's be proud of our differences and let us celebrate how alike and unalike we are. Is that to much to ask?

@tristramshandy3 We will never get passed such behaviour, denying it wont make it the facts that people on this planet are different, and we'll better learn how to live with that. One option is extended trade. Trade and interdependency seems to work keeping nations from warring with each other. Also democracies with little authoritarian dependency and consisting of many political parties seldom, if ever go to war over shallow differences.

-The issue discussed are people being physically different from one and other, albeit superficially.

-Today it is a bit different since most democracies are hollowed out and authoritarian. Both NATO and US lead - so even my own country of Sweden is at war after 300-ish years of peace. War for no good or justifiable reason too.

No 1 has a definition to democracy, but for the sake of arguement there r democracies involved in wars right now. Most democracies today have the biggest & most destructive weapons.
I was just correcting Dawkins, bcause his listeners believe they understand him "logically" otherwise they will be no different than the blind believers of religion.

@schopsz democracy derives from the greek and means the people have power. There are direct democracies, like ancient greece, and representative democracies, like the USA, for example.
Aristotle, in his book The Politics, discusses the pattern that occurs, as societies go from tyranny to democracy to oligarchy, and then back again. The USA is in a state of oligarchy today for all practical purposes.

@tristramshandy3..I am aware of its roots, but Greek philosophers themselves disagreed on the definition of democracy.
Democracies differ from one nation to another, it has no set laws. There r democracies that has for example prostitution & narcotics as legal & other's don't. What is right no democracy realy knows.
In the early 1900's democracies were promoting Eugenics. It's an evolutionary and vague concept, can turn right to wrong & vice versa.

@schopsz democracy means power derives from the people. What different democratic societies decide on is up to them- but the nature of democracy is the same.
