That would be some awesome knowledge to have. In fact, I probably will start experimenting more with it myself.
@paintballforever24 not really. If I remember right, I didn't let it cure all the way and was able to tap out the half that was bonded to the shaft with a screw driver and a hammer I eventually replaced the key all together. Even when it wasn't cured properly, the JB weld worked until I overworked the engine. See my Burnout Fail video.
i fixed one of my buddys bike, it was just like that just that it was a 2 stroke with 1 gear and a clutch it was much less complacated that. and i bet it would smoke that,nice bike though
@Sandeep9201 If I were to bet, I'd put my money on a 2-stroke also. Mainly because of the clutch, and the lighter weight of the engine. I built the 4-stroke because I had it laying around and thought I could be lazy.
I can't say that it's better from a performance point of view or not. I haven't put miles on this engine. As for the JB weld., I might not have let it sit long enough, or mixed it correctly. I still want to mess with it somemore.
I can't believe it didn't work. I would love to see more vids like bills bike. Se what other people are riding, and building. Really so the 2 stroke is better then?
May I please ask you another question, if you don't mind.
The back axle on my riding mower broke in half. The mower is an old Ariens and uses a disk drive.
Do you think I can JB Weld (liquid welding) my axle back, or should I welded it.
